Again, ignoring Leatherface the KP2 is pretty good, though I would of liked news about what else is included in the pack but I think that's coming soon anyway.

As long as WB doesn't fuck with the game itself and make it more casual based than tourney based, I'm fine. The game deserved more support. And, you never know what KP3 may include.

The only reason Leatherface will sell really well is because people are gonna want to buy the pack in total to save money and what have you. That doesn't bother me, but I do know that's more of a WB thing. Just don't make MKXI or IGAU 2 or whatever like the fighting game version of Arkham Knight.

I do wonder how the decision to pick Bo' over some of the more requested characters came about. I don't mind his inclusion, I'm just curious.

1) Probably wanted a subtitle-era character as opposed to a more classic character (like peeps requesting Shang/Noob/Kabal/etc.)
2) He offsets the serious of the other picks.
3) He offers more varied gameplay opportunities than rehashes of previous characters. (Boon went on Twitter to say at someone talking about Bo - "His drunken fighting style is so much fun to play & watch !")
4) Someone at NRS really digs Bo?

Also who says there'll be a KP3?

That's a shame. Sans the Matthew Mconaughay one, the Texas Chainsaw movies are pretty terrifying.

Plus, Leatherface is loosely based off an actual serial killer. Whereas the others...

Let's not get Story Mode into why characters are and aren't in, because it's bad. Comics blew Story Mode out of the water.

As for LF, it's mainly because out of all the current horror characters, he's the least popular and even interesting compared to what they did with Predator and the new Xeno. Jason had some neat ideas but some didn't translate well. You know basically what you're getting which is a fistful of chainsaw.

I also think MK should have some sick, deranged serial killer character of it's own, Leatherface is... Lol how is he gonna kick? Just make every attack a chainsaw move, fuck it. I'll buy him then. His sweep is a Chainsaw spinaroonie.

I can see it now.

Chainsaw: Leatherface has multiple moves/strings involving his chainsaw. Also has access to overheads and lows he wouldn't otherwise have.

Axes: Leatherface becomes quicker and has a faster projectile along with command grabs. Gets armor buffs in it.

Hooks: He can randomly summon hooks from far, medium and close range to hang people and attack them for free damage much like a Sub-Zero Ice ball.

I would've much preferred terminator over leather face (could've had brawler variation, weapon variation etc...) i guess they felt it mightve been too similar to tri-borg...

Terminator would have been so much fun, but not instead of another MK character, I mean 4 guests are too many imo.

I was upset about leatherface at first, but some people do want him. Some of you are just acting so entitled like they owe you something. They're making a product, you as the consumer have the option to buy it or not. That sucks if your favorite didn't make the game, if it effects your enjoyment then that's a valid reason to quit. Leatherface being in the game doesn't effect my ability to have fun playing Sub-Zero. He might be fun just wait and see, it has been like 2 days just chill.

There was an article that Ed Boon was dared to put Bo in it. That's why he was chosen.
