I'm looking to actually start playing the game (I'll be playing MK9 again too) because it's the current game and when the semester starts again I won't be able to play League anymore ;_;

High execution and tournament viability aren't issues for me, so I don't mind who I play. The #1 thing I'm looking for is a character who would please an audience. I enjoy playing characters with low representation or are vastly unexplored. I'm looking to create the hype that I created when I played Quan (and when I randomly played Jax that one time) because I like to hype the community when I'm swamped and stressed in schoolwork.

I've never given a fighting game 100%, and I most likely won't for Injustice, but I can guarantee hype :)
Did you see the Saltface hype at CEO with Harley Quinn? If thats the kind of hype your going for. Use her. Those mother fuckers were chanting HARLEY HARLEY HARLEY!

Yes I can read but you're saying nonsense. The 100% is impractical if you're landing it consistently you're playing some bad players. Grundy should rarely if ever have full super meter in the first place. The power chain is worthless 10% damage isn't going to make or break you in 99% of the matches. 71% guarantees for 2 bars guarantee's a kill if you land a simple health chain and the health chain or defense chain in some matches are far more useful than the power chain.

He has comeback factor but not because of his 100% impractial combo's that grundy forum idiots like to constantly post. 4 touches kills not counting a clash. He has difficult to escape set ups and can swing the match with an anti air grab of all things. very momentum based character.
Same exact thing with QUAN FREAKING CHI who we are talking here about. He doesn't get to do his Rune Trap because good players don't let him build meter. That's why he is low tier in MK9. But nonetheless Insuperable was playing him out of his mind, and managed to build meter even in impossible mathes to end them in a Rune Trap. And If you as Grundy are getting beat down 80% of the match, and because of the damage received and non MB spent you pretty much have meter to land a 100% reset if you get a lucky opening, it isn't impractical - it's just rare. But for example if your opponent is raping you in the corner and you get MB Swamp Hands it is such lucky opening. And it does happen, even against good players. Or you could catch your opponent in the corner and spent your meter there to do several successfull Oki reads and still come back taking the round. That is what come back factor is. I still think you need to come down and give everyone at Grundy forums a break. Those guys are having fun, looking at some possibilities with the character, they are not all tournament players, so what they don't get to share stuff they find?

Try Green Lantern for a start. Great combos and resets but he lacks a bit of mobility I would say.
If hype is what you're going for, Catwoman is the shit. The sound of her claws tearing her opponents apart is the good part, not to mention the smack talk when clashing lol But I would recommend her for more experienced players since her serious lack of projectiles makes her vulnerable to zoners. Imagine a noobish Deathstroke hosing you down with bullets from full screen.
I first picked kitty when I bought the game. Now that I got used to her combos and resets, she's practically unstoppable. I sometimes reach a 30 wins streak with her! Oh and you're gonna be having a lot of hate mails and rage quitters (that's part of the hype lol). I love these guys. Kids mostly. Someone rage quit on me yesterday and sent me a message saying, duuuude...this kitty is UNREAL. Stuff like that give you a clue on how you're doing so far...and makes your head big LOL

It's looking like a tossup between Lobo and Shazam. I may be using both (or someone else if they take the lead) because they seem to be the #1/#2 hype/underused characters. I'll be deciding after VxG due to the fact that Reo has my controller, so I can't really practice anything until he gets back lmao. Whoever my choice ends up being, I hope you guys enjoy watching :)

Then use Shazam, he's pretty hype.

They are probably waititng for this char to have a messiah imo. They are both very stylish.
Now if I'm comparing your play style from mk9 to injustice, you definetly should play Shazam. You'll need gimmicks, footsies, good management of your meter, vortex, and being a hero as well (which is a great responsability).
