my friend plays Kimberly she's crazy, looks like a fun character. When I do get it, I’ll likely play JP, then try out DeeJay and Kimberly, they’re my favorites so far.

Same. I started with Manon, want to pick Marisa and Dee Jay later.I'm supposed to hate to death command grab characters. And here I am playing Manon and absolutely loving it
We'll reach y'all from this corner with our HK, don't worrygo sit in the corner and think about your life choices
Wow, Dhalsim looks terrifyingly difficult to play... I admire you!I'm using Luke atm, mostly just to learn the game as it's my first time playing Street Fighter but he's fun so see if I stick it out long term. I like the look of Dhalsims zoning and range though so he appeals
It basically boils down to high level play. They are both similar, but have very different game plans for the competitive. What I mean is that when learning or as a low level player, they are in fact kinda interchangeable, though I would say Ryu is probably a better choise for a beginner. What is the difference in the playstyle which gives Ryu an advantage over him <Ken>?
Thanks a heap for this!People like to talk about "fundamentals". Ryu is all about that. He has great footsies and space control. Long reaching normal and all that. As a beginner, he is easily one of the best characters to learn "how to street fighter".
You are a man of culture my good sir.
