I put the i5 in there because the i5's will perform just as well as the i7's for gaming and most other things. i7's have hyperthreading which will make things like rendering and transcoding a bit better, however, the technology in i5's has advanced to the point that it won't affect that many people. You will still be able to make videos or stream or anything along those lines very well.

If you were trying to render a YouTube video for upload while playing MKX and watching a stream all at the same time, then you would need to go with i7 but that just doesn't seem reasonable. The i5's can handle just about everything that the i7's can but at about a $100 discount!

True. But if you can afford it... just go with i7. If you want to stream or record while playing MKX on PC it will definitely help out a lot.

Xbone for sure
PS4 if they confirm there will be no region lock.
the Question is will they confirm it?

OP you have a lot of high players names down who never replied in this thread makes it look very one sided .if you added them because you knew they be on XBox One im sure many can name a few high level players who already own a PS4 to put on the PS4 side :)

Gengar

Hypnosis > Dreameater (its a reset)
I am planning to get it for PC, fantastic graphics and I can still use my ps2 controller. As opposed to learning a new controller and dropping 400 on a new console. I just need to know how preorder will work for Goro on PC

Majority of people on xbox that I have is not getting a ps4. Im not sure about jupiter. But I know he plays xbox one on the consistent basis. But you can tag him. Mr aquaman probably will have it for all systems. Sonix fox, idk. Im not sure about rico, cdjr wound cowboy and others. But the rest I listed is getting only on the xbox that I posted before I wrote down the people names. A

You are just suprise how many people will only get for the one.

That other thread that was created on what console will you buy xbox one or ps4?

Majority of people pick ps4.

I knew these people was trolling.

So I made this thread and as you see there are great players buying it for the xbox one.

We will see later how the list change.

I can't seem to find the post with the poll on it, but I figure this thread is as good a place as any to post my question:

I plan on streaming MKX extensively, and was wondering if XB1 or PS4 would be better suited for the task, or if they're pretty much equal. I was also wondering if there was any speculation on what the tournament standard will most likely be. Sorry if this stuff has already been discussed elsewhere; I've been out of the loop for a while.

I'm not into 3d gaming, so no on the 3d question. Also, tourneys cant be held on PC because TOs would have to have tons of PCs available for every setup which would be UNGODLY expensive, not to mention the level of expertise required to troubleshoot every single one of them in the event that something goes wrong.

CPU: Intel i7-5930k (overclocked to 4.4Ghz right now... could push it further if I wanted)
CPU cooling: Corsair H100i closed water loop
Motherboard: ASUS x99 deluxe
Memory: 16GB Corsair LPX PC2800
Vid card: EVGA Nvidia 980GTX
SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB drive for OS/a few games
HDD: 2TB Western Digital Black for storage
Monitor: ASUS VG248qe - Replaced the old evo asus monitor
Damn, i am jelly of your setup :O
