In mk9 it was certain characters that were just insane online (reptile, mileena, lao, etc)

In mkx it's just the online in general. Certain characters are more annoying (quan, lao, predator) but the whole online experience in this game just seems even more terrible than NRS' s last 2 efforts (if that is even possible). The game is fantastic offline though.

Yeah. This. Only because there's so many time I know I blocked that move offline. But here we go into a combo.

Ermac and scorpion people definitely get away with so much bs online when there is any kind of delay.
Raw teleports that can't be punished and for ermac its d3 overhead which is most ppls go to tactic. Once I realize I can't punish it because of online I just say gg after match and leave

The ninjas in general. Ermac (online) unreactable blocked d3 into f4, Scorpion's raw teleport wakeups (that I am a beast at blowing up offline but can't touch or punish online), and Cryo Subs usually get away with some shifty stuff online as well. The type of people who play these guys that way online are the types of people who don't know you can start a combo without a jip because the combo video they learned from didn't tell them that
