What small details will you pay extra attention to?

I hope we get colored health bars again,
I hope we don't. There's no need for the gaudy yellow/green/blue/red bars of old.

What they did with MKX was beautiful. There's enough of a design flourish to make it interesting, but it's not overly intricate or distracting. The white stands out nicely (can't say i've noticed a problem on any stage). The life bars disappearing leaving a clean screen by the end emphasises the fight on screen rather than the HUD.

I'd like them to evolve that rather than back peddle to the more classic style. I2 seemed to do just that, so hopefully it's the new way they work.

The music is something i'll be listening for. Hopefully there's more tracks with a defining melody like the older days. Think Living Forest/Kombat Tomb/The Street etc. You could hum along to most of them. These days not so much, they're too ambient(?!).

The story tbh. I actually believe it or not love the series for the depth of lore. Who doesn’t like beating ass with a purpose MK is like a playable anime honestly. I much enjoy seeing the different characters interact with eachother outside of a opening fight scene like a majority of fighting games today , and also beating the fuck out eachother for good reasons! I was just always drawn to the story.

Mortal Kombat's beast like overpowered bosses should be defeated by something like co-op mode or with the help of elder gods etc. But not punching and kicking their face please. I totally understand this is a fighting game but at least they could do that in story mode.

Oh!... That's a great idea! Make the MK bosses so hard that they literally require two players, working in co-op, tagging in and out (or even fighting them at the same time, Street Fighter Alpha series "dramatic battle" style) to defeat them.

That is a genuinely good idea -- 1) because it allows them to maintain the integrity of the cheesy boss trope, and 2) because it gives them a genuine reason to include tag co-op in their games (which most everyone wants, even if they're not particular fans of using the mode).

I can tell you one thing for certain, that if the MK story mode(s) had co-op functionality, I'd be far more likely to play through them (as distinct from tasking a hapless friends to do it). I mean, the whole, insulting 'impossible CPU that suddenly lets the player win after a couple of losses' "A.I.", isn't exactly endearing to veteran fighting game players; and in the Internet Age, one can just watch the stories online. Co-op would all but fix this problem...

I don't know... I'll just try to take it all in, and be excited for whatever comes our way.

I hope to see Fujin or Havik revealed, but I'm long past having any real hope for anything in that regard.

I forgot to mention, the blood. I'll pay very close attention to the blood, how it looks like, how it drips, how it stains the arena and the fighters, and especially how it looks during the Fatalities.

The music.

I'm just not a fan of the NRS battle music. By some feat of nature their trailer music is even worse, but trailers I see only a couple of times. Having unhype music in the background of all matches is an actual problem.

I'd prefer if MK had fast and brutal techno / rock / metal tunes in the background of the matches. That would fit the tone of the fights and the overall feel much better IMO.

Capcom is on point, when it comes to the music in their fighting games. NRS has to step up in that regard.

yep .... I hope this time, they (NRS) make Kitana seems to be a gorgeous edenian princess and beautiful character .... in MK9 they fucked up her face (Michael Jackson look alike) :confused:, and in MK X, she was looking more like a "Khloe Kardashian cosplay" god damn ! :eek: I hope that in MK 11, they finally do justice to Princess Kitana and make her both wonderful and bad ass in terms of physical appareance .... :D ;)

Between Round animations and background details. I really hope we get twice the amount of Arenas as MKX.

I really wish the rumored Konquest styled Krypt is fun to explore and enjoy the lore!!

Extras like concept art and stuff. I enjoyed unlocking that stuff in the Krypt. I’d like to see more than just brutality codes this time around. Maybe some vids of the process. Maybe gear and specials for custom variations.

I have no issues with their animations, I guess people want anime MK or something similar to SF or DB. No thanks. I'll take the mocap or should I say mokap with realistic movement, it's one thing that separates MK from everything else. I also don't care much about the whole "lips, ass and face" it's a video game, not a porn movie. I don't need Kitana or Sonya to look like freaking Stormy Daniels or Gal Gadot for real. I have a bigger issue with Chun-Li's massive Arnold bodybuilding legs than someone's face or hair honestly. MK X the females were very proportionately accurate.

To me the music, it felt a bit stale in MK X and I'll also look out for any multiplayer modes like tag again things up to 4 people, newer online modes, how deep the kustomization will be and how more photorealistic they can get with the mouth movements, gore, etc I will also keep an eye out for their movement system, hopefully we get dashing back, and not running again especially the way it worked in MK X, and not being penalized/restricted for backdashing please.
