This game feels little tame for superhero game.
He doesn't need a new special move though. This game needs super hyper combos to give it over the top feeling. Kinda of like Marvel vs Capcom series and king of fighters.
There should be 2 different meters, 5 bar power meter and 3 bar super meter.
You can gain the power meter by beating up your opponent or making your block.
Super meter can be gained by getting beat up or successfully blocking/parrying.
Power meter can be used for
- meter burn/enhanced moves
- meter burn roll
- breaker/ push back
- clash
Etc
Super meter can be used for level 1 supers, level 2 supers and level 3 cinematic super.
Get rid of gimmick button and make traits level 1 or level 2 supers depending on how power they are.
Level 1 and level 2 supers are of clash quality in terms of visuals and level 3 is over the top cinematic super just like how it is.
Batman would have three level 1 supers, two level supers and one level 3 super.
Three level 1 supers
1. Batman calls in bat pod to shoot at opponent. Does 10-15% damage and costs 1 bar of super meter.
2. Batman throws sonic batarang at opponent, if it hits opponent is attacked by swarm of bats. Does 10-15% damage and costs 1 bar of super meter.
3. Batman summons mechinecal bats either around opponent or himself which he can fire at will. Does 10-15% damage and costs 1 bar of super meter.
Two level 2 supers.
1. Batman throws smoke bomb at opponent. If it hits Screen goes black and Batman activates shock and heat in his guantlets to lay a beat down on his opponent like a boxer. In short what batman does to flash in trailer or what Akuma's raging demon looks like SFV. Does 20-30% damage and costs 2 bars of super meter.
2. Batman calls in batwing(luke fox not plane) for limited time to assist him. Costs 2 bars of super meter.
One level 3 cinematic super.
1. The one he already has where he takes his opponent to sky and shoots him with bat-jet. Costs 3 bars of super meter.
