Man, it would probably sell just as well as MK itself. I don't think people realize just how many horror fan gamers are out there and would likely dip their toes into the fighting game pool if it was chock full of horror icons.

I just want good 'ol Michael Myers in a fighting game and he's busted af from beginning to end.

With the recent releases and success of Capcom’s Classic Fighting Collections, I really wish NRS would rerelease the classic MK games. There has never been a really good port of the classics on really any platform, and some of them have never even been available to play online except through crappy emu’s. It would just be awesome to simply have easy access to the classic MK games on modern platforms. And would be even better if they had online with rollback netcode, then the standard online modes (KoTH, Ranked, and Private Matches). I really don’t know why they either wouldn’t just do this, or give the okay for this.

Its fine, its w/e, its what we were expecting.

I just need NRS to do something different, this is the perfect chance to make the most non NRS feeling NRS game they can.
Change up the characters, redesign Superman, Batman, and Aquaman. I never want to see their toxic ass movesets again.
Get rid of the fucking stance switch.

Injustice games feel to much like MK, and it just makes me miss MK.
Make it different and unique, something I want to exist and not make me think of a better game every time I boot it up.

I really don’t understand why they don’t. Capcom shits out rereleases of their classics almost annually at this point. Capcom players are so spoiled, it’s annoying! Wish NRS showed the community the same love

The highest selling IJ sold just over 1.7 million in the peak of PS5 / XB1 ownership. People here have been carrying on about the 6 million that MK1 sold even though it is on a platform with half the units of PS4 sold.

I think Injustice and MK would cost a similar amount to produce. If NRS and WB want to make a game which would sell a lot less, they will choose Injustice. MK is their cash cow.

That’s honestly the least believable part of the universe. If he’s supposed to be a metaphor for an alien in America’s “melting pot” culture, he should have been a gig worker, like a door dasher for the new era
