So normally Jacqui players have been using b22 as kind of a check for movement or other things, just outside of footsie range. I've been seeing a lot of b22~dash punch, etc. to keep opponents from getting cute in neutral.
But we don't often talk about the fact that b2~kicks is actually a pretty satisfactory long-range punish, leading to 30% off f12 f12~clinch. B2 is an 18-frame starter.
So I'm wondering: for moves which are unsafe frames-wise, but leave the opponent spaced too far away for f12, has anyone found things that are punishable with b2~kicks (it could either be on block, or something that just recovers slowly on whiff, like a zoning tool)? I'm going to go through the moveset soon and look, but it'd be cool to compile a list of what people already have.
