Question Was Cyber Sub Zero really as bad as everyone said?

All CSZ ever got was stealth Nerfs

I know, that's the point lol.

i dont really see the comparison lol. i only used bane as an example cuz of how people viewed him early on. people thought the tools he had just wouldnt be enough. they thought he was garbage just like people thought/still think CSZ isnt good.

I actually agree with the representation aspect, it's just that CSZ was originally viewed as a top tier character at the start of MK9 before his design flaws became apparent. That said, he's definitely has the biggest potential as a double edged sword within his tier.

He's my secondary and I hope he gets in MKX but I still voted that fundamentally he is bad.

He does no dmg from far, his moves have a huge recovery time, his iceball has a 2 million frame start up, his bombs don't always freeze and have an AOE of 5 inches, his teleport is terrible, his bombs use button 3 (A for xbox) instead of 4 so it makes it hard to dash in and start pressure,
AND probably the worst thing of all....his pokes.

He does have a lot of positives but i feel they're overshadowed by the -ves

I played around with him for a while, but yea his normals seem slower than expected. I feel I didn't put perhaps enough work into him I guess.
