I'll continue to main Cyborg with MMH, Lex and Sinestro as secondaries. Definitely going to play Lobo, Catwoman and Shazam more.
jury is still out until patch day, but i have a feeling they have not addressed his major issue of being as slow as a fucking glacier. im interested to see the probe buff but i wanted decreased probe startup. thats the deal breaker. we will see though. I played lex since day 1 and im a big lex downplayer, now ive started using high tier characters and i feel amazed i can do all these fucking cool things and attacks and specials and crazy traits. i played lex 100% until last month. now i try s tier characters and its like ive been playing street fighter with Dan as the only playable character. now im using shin akumas.
I've been playing Lex since day 1 as well, & my guess is you're simply not using his tools as effectively as you otherwise could (not saying you're a bad player). He doesn't need to be faster. He was never meant to be a fast character. He's a setup character - you check & punish your enemy & setup with shield to protect yourself, buy yourself time with probe, zone with mine, trade with Lance blast (especially post-patch), stop long-range jumpers with vaccuum or up lance blast, or break turtle shells with the orbital strike. You should have shield up at EVERY opportunity - it's what gives you your free openings (& don't forget to dash cancel that shield). Also, you should constantly back-dash, as 1 of Lex's many advantages is his reach. If you have shield you can rush in, absorb the initial hit & get a full combo punish.
Batman's trait nerf means nothing. The character hasn't changed in any significant way.

It means something if you are already mediocre with him. The nerf to his b2, 3 will be felt, and will only encourage Batman players to jump even more, if that's possible. Waiting an extra three seconds for Bats will be a pain when you're used to the current 6 seconds. Those who main him will always find a way, but Batman takes a hit with this patch. Not as bad as a lot of the other top tiers, of course.
The nerf on B23 is only on whiff or block. This means that we simply need to make better reads and space ourselves more correctly. The trait difference will be different, but we can adjust. Batman will be fine.
