I'll probably stick to my guns, which if they weren't already obvious are Cyborg and Superman. I was hoping for a buff for Cyborg's Target Acquired move, but no such luck, so I'll likely practice setups for his improved trait.
Supes didn't get hit as hard as I thought he would, but I think he's going to take some adjustment/more effort to get him to be effective, which is fine by me as long as he's balanced (Pretty much all of the nerfs except for the general damage scaling one were what I thought they should do if they changed anything). Mostly I'll be taking him to the lab to see how significant his combo scaling increases are and what new range for his F2 is so that I can readjust my spacing.
I've already started to put some more time into Killer Frost after having played her off and on since the game's launch, still not sure if she's "main" material for me mostly because she has always seemed somewhat one dimensional to me gameplay wise, but if I end up having fun with her then she might be a good secondary character.
MMH I have yet to try because I can't get him, but when I can I think I'm going to play him as he looks very unique and seems to have some interesting setups/combos. If I really like playing as him I might replace Supes with him, but only time will tell.
Overall I hope this patch evens the playing field a bit and NRS lets the game settle so that it can evolve rather than mutate every so often like they did for a while with MK9.
