How exactly will it play better if they achieve a stable 60FPS (if that's what they are even aiming for) on all the consoles? The only thing that will be different if they achieve a consistent frame rate across ALL consoles is that one will look better than the other, which shouldn't matter for a fighting game.

The X360 and PS3 won't get any more powerful in 2015 -- they'll still have the same issues they currently have. Also given that it'll be a port, I'd expect the game to run smoothest on next-gen.
But don't you think the game is being developed for Xbox 360/PS3 and ported to Xbox One/PS4? Not the other way around?
I'd hope not, since the publishers will probably want this to be a system seller and a strong statement for what next-get can do. It may be pared back some, but hopefully it will take fuller advantage of the PS4/XBOne caps. and functionality.
netplay, consistent vs constant 60fps, loading times, etc. . . all valid gameplay concerns.
My PC port is the best version of the game there is. Consoles go home.
That's what I wanted/expected. It's why I'm concerned hearing it's coming out on 5 platforms. If Killer Instinct does things that can't be done on last gen... obviously that makes it seem like MKX won't be doing those types of things.
Also consider that in my experience from next gen so far, connections are way better. So there's that.
I get it, man. They want to make more money. I WANT NRS to make a lot of money off this game. I love that company and I've supported them even when some of them worked for Midway. I just really wanted a strictly NextGen MK game. I'm getting too old to play this shit and this will most likely be the last MK game for me. I also think having MK be NextGen only would move a lot of systems for them. If I didn't already have either a PS4 or XB1, I'd definitely buy one if it was NextGen only.
So do I, but I'm accepting of the fact that we're going to just have to wait.
I'm just being a baby like most of the people on here who are complaining about everything. I'm over it. I'm beyond excited for a new MK game and I really trust NRS to right all the wrongs there were with MK9. The current version of Injustice is about as balanced as it gets. I would love to see MKX have the same amount of character diversity in tournaments. I just want them to confirm Ermac and I'll settle down for good.
