It is a patch created by Lunar IPS (just like UMKII), follow the instructions on how to apply it.

What do you have? A pentium computer from 2007 (~1.8gHz) can run UMK3 with the right tweaks, you might have to to disable sound but that's about it.

It's a patch, not the game itself. Literally just the changed data as text applied to previously existing roms.

Anyone could help a mame noob to make this work?

Can't find any file mentioned in the pdf in my umk3 roms , they're all like um312u54 and so on , i swear im getting crazy over this.

Edit: Wait... the PDF is for UMK2 TE wtf?

It's like the H.Smoke code. But instead of HP and HK, you hold LP and LK while you are Classic Sub-Zero. So LP+LK+D+B+Run+Blk while C.Sub.

Just apply it to the UMK3 roms instead of the MK2 ones. The rom names are in the patch filenames so just apply each patch to the corresponding revision 1.2 rom.

I ran the patch on the matching u54 and u63 files and I just get a CD Image missing when I run the game. The game runs before the patch.

Tried taking the two files out, patching them and putting them back in to the .zip to replace the originals. I get a CD Image missing error.


Tried running each patch on the .zip file directly, and then I get a file 122 missing error.
