For all United Kingdom folks out there, if you aren't aware already there will be several Injustice: Gods Among Us events hosted at several GAME Store locations starting April 1st. There are nine straight days of Injustice tournaments at these GAME Store locations lasting through April 9th with prizes that are quite godlike leading up to the possibility of winning an Injustice: Gods Among Us arcade machine? Yep, that is correct... but you gotta be the best.
With several other prizes in place for the winner(s) along with food and refreshments... how can you not join this? They do say that spots are limited to 32 entrants in each heat, so if you're hearing this for the first time... drop what you're doing and get on it. "Store Event - International Injustice: Gods Among Us Tournament
Are you the greatest hero of them all? Well now you can prove it! We've teamed up with Warner Bros. to host the UK heats of the International Injustice: Gods Among Us Tournament in GAME stores throughout the country!
Developed by the team that behind the recent Mortal Kombat, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a fantastic new fighting game pitting the heroes and villains of the DC Universe against each other. Featuring all-new gameplay and special powers from the world's mightiest mortals, Injustice: Gods Among Us is a new test for the most hardened beat-'em-up veteran, and there's plenty to play for.
The winner of each store heat will win a fantastic prize pack, including a gaming headset, a Limited Edition Injustice Fight Stick, a DC Comics character bobble head and a weekend ticket for Multiplay's Insomnia 49 event to be held on 23 - 26 August 2013 at The International Centre, Telford. Plus each heat winner will advance to the UK Final, held at Warner Bros HQ in London on 19th April 2013.
The winner of the UK Final will receive an Injustice UK Tournament Winners Belt, a 40" Smart TV, a PlayStation Vita (Wi-Fi version), and a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us Collector's Edition (Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3), and the honour of represent the UK in the International Injustice Tournament Final to be held in Paris during the week commencing 22nd April 2013. There you can take on the best the world has to offer and be in with a chance of winning the Grand Prize of the International Winner's belt and a one-off Injustice Arcade Machine!
But that's not all. Each store heat will have a runner's up prize including a copy of Injustice: Gods Among Us Red Son Special Edition (Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3), and all competitors will receive an Injustice goodie bag including an exclusive t-shirt and playing cards. Pizza and refreshments will also be on hand, and if you fancy just being part of the atmosphere, non-competitors are welcome so come along provide support, sample the game ahead of launch (without the pressures of the tournament!) and stand a chance of winning a variety of on-the-spot prizes, too!
