Evil alliance VS Evil Alliance

Doest have to be the characters presented here. but aren't you guys tired of good fighting against evil?
with so any evil characters in the Mortal Kombat series, Wouldn't it be exciting?

It's certainly interesting but I can only see that happening in a platform "Shaolin Monks" type of game, not a simple fighting game.
For example, it would be interesting playing as Shao Kahn and watching him climb all the way to the top, pushing Onaga aside, his relationship with his fellow generals (Reiko), his deeds with the Shokan, him finding out about that Earthrealm traitor Shang Tsung which he took under his protection and having all this lead up to the 1st tournament that the Great Kung Lao lost to Goro.
But of course good vs bad is always going to be the deal.

I think it's a decent idea for the MK universe. Perhaps a side-game, not a main-line game.

The good guys trying to prevent it.

Evil against evil could be very exciting, the good ones would be put in the middle doing... I dont know.....blah.
for a moment it seemed cool but some how imposible now

but if you know about the mortal kombat story, you would certainly know that Onaga might be the surprise boss for MKX

Shinnok was the one who brought him out from the nether realm with a portal

Onaga controls the unbeatable army, Shinnok can open portals and travel between realms, and now that Shao Kanh is dead, it seems like a great opportunity to take over Edenia and earth realm. knowing that most of the good characters died in the last game.

For MKX
Onaga= Shao Kanh
Shinnok= shang Tsung

and then the other evil characters that are related to them that have a big chance for coming back
Rain, Tanya, Quan Chi etc

Raiden is probably doing what he does best
gathering around great new fighters to defend the realms from evil.

Maybe Shinnok was working for Onaga this whole time and they made a deal that if Shao Kanh dies, he would get something in return.

What about an MK 3v3 team based game ala KOF? Themes teams based on story and alliance would be cool. Character can be designed to facilitate all the necessary tools within a team. Maybe also each character within a team is focused toward either 'Rushdown' 'Footsies/Spacing' 'Zoning' one of each per team.

Seriously though, this may be exactly what we are about to get. Think about it, "bad guys" from one dimension are about to assault another dimension that is associated with bad guys as well, an asshole inheritor of Edenian crown may be hinted by Boon... And back in the Earthrealm, Kano is still frozen.

Why? It makes you really care for the series and characters more. It's not a waste of time , MK's storyline has alot to do with it's success.
