The tutorial in-game tells you that what the purpose of this move is.

You can't have your cake and eat it too. Issues whiff punishing Catwomans B3 is part of the package when you play Black Adam; Red Hood, Green Lantern, Poison Ivy etc don't have an issue
what? The ingame tutorial has you playing as Batman, practicing on a Superman dummy.

I'm not going to lab for you. If Catwomans B3 is as big of an issue as you make out then you would've already found a way to punish it with your character.

Here's some non-advancing low punishes I know:

Wonder Woman: B2, D12, D2,
Atrocitus: B2, F2, D2
Dr Fate: Stand 3,
Batman: B2, B1, F2
Catwoman: B1, F1, Stand 3

Not that anyone would know but catwomen can low profile braniacs f3 and the second hit of divekick, havent tested if its consitent but I got hit by her during a long set

Half of these are very spacing dependent.

Still no solution to stuff on startup, where it goes under batmans d1 and f2 for example.

Can legit not use 3/4 of your characters moves cause of the yolo b3 shit.

Where is the footsies in a mega range move that launches and dodges just about everything unless its low.

Hard enough having any kind of neutral against her j2.

The tool is waaay too free, its not good design and doesnt cater to skillful play.

I'm aware of my current options. D1 is the only realistic choice. Do you both honestly thing that d1 scoop whiff punish for 100 damage should be the worst case scenario for the payout that this move often grants? This balance of risk and reward is a little skewed. And before you go on and on about how superman can get more off of a d1 with meter, again, i'm very aware, and i'm sure with meter catwoman can do even more than the 40% meterless she gets off of raw b3

Ya I noticed this pretty early on but cat woman is one of the most brain dead designs in the game so I strayed from her knowing soon I would be fighting her a lot. Ji2 insane range. Extensive use of b3 d3 throw and one button combo sound fun to u? Well good sir, good news...

Remidns of how I am watching Inj 2 Latin America. Everyone bitching about Black Adam and then a Deadshot won. Someone owes me 100 bucks, since I predicted the BA would switch.

I get b1 whiff punishes with Superman but u have to outplay tf out of them. It's a 20 frame low with a very small hitbox.

I believe B1 gives you more damage than D1...

Having the risk/reward not be in your favor is not something new. I know Superman doesn't normally have to deal with that as much, but that's how a lot of match ups are for other characters; you just have to deal with the match up. Her B3 is good, it's one of her unique things, but just because it's good and unique, doesn't mean it's broken.

Yeah, they need to fix her recovey hurtbox off that but since we're at it why don't you make a thread about whiff punishing Black Adam's F12 and divekick? You can't even whiff punish him properly because of the flying hitbox they have.... at least for Catwoman only a very few characters legit can't whiff punish B3 but for Adam it's across the board

If there are already so many ways to punish it, then what does it matter if she's more tangible when coming out of b3? If it's as unsafe as you say, then you shouldn't be machine gunning that move out anyway so it's just annoying and it doesn't look like it was designed to.

It just seems like when KL's spin had that tiny window to punish in mk9 and KL players would spin then spin again and hypocritically be like "sorry you can't play brain dead anymore bruh learn the mu" as they just mash the same move over and over lol.

I havent had a problem with whiff punishing CW's b3. Maybe WW just has better buttons to deal with th recovery?

I always hated this kind of logic. You all here are asking for moves that very clearly did not touch Catwoman, to magically hit her. Ask for more recovery frames, or to make it slower, or something else if her low profiling shit is truly is a problem, but not to alter it's hurtbox. The hurtbox is working fine. If a move doesn't touch the other character, the game should not register it as a hit.
