Well, this is called presenting a case. Case being: Plenty of characters whiff/can't to optimal damage on female characters. Cage still has a plethora of options that make him a top tier character pick. Unbreakable 50% combos that allow him to save his FB for use later. Some of the best neutral buttons in the whole game. Pretty much infinite pressure when playing against a non-female hitbox. And, most recently and granted not fully explored due to it just being introduced, probably the very best zoning variation in the WHOLE game.

He's top tier. Get over it. Request denied.

Presenting a case:

You say it's ok Cage whiffs, because he has other options such as some of the best neutral buttons.
Guess what. It's THOSE neutral buttons that whiff.

You just contradicted yourself. You lose.

Kang trades, Kitana outzones outtake, watch ECT and see for yourself.

I feel like every Johnny Cage player has those horse blinders on when you tell them that having a KB combo that does FB combo damage is insane. When Jax does FB damage off his command throw KB? Everyone loses their minds.. "this is broke.. this is SO good of a tool for Jax."

When you compare the Cage KB combo to anyone else's FB and say it's the same that is completely intentionally downplaying and DISINGENUOUS. Cage KEEPS his FB after landing the KB combo. No one else gets to USE THEIR FATAL BLOW AGAIN. Same as Jax's... I really wish you guys would just admit that Cage has some fantastic options lmao. If we get anything out of this convo, just that.

Every Cage player just says he is not the only one who has it. You said it yourself, Jax has it too. So basically you're complaining that Cage has a tool that at least half the cast has, but you're bothered that Cage has it too.
Watch Brasil tournament to see some of the best unbreakable damage for a shit load of characters, that is on par with Cage.

Cage has the same tools like everyone else. The only difference is that those chars can do it on all the cast, as Cage can't do it on half.
Whiff = bug, it must be fixed. I win.


Also, what do you think about the 60% and 70% combos from the likes of Sonya, Kabal, that are breakable but you still eat them after doing a breakaway to not eat them in the first place (top tier players ate it, watch the insane comeback with sonya that instantly deleted 90% health).
But I guess those are ok, right? Since they're not from Cage.

Yes,fortunately Cetrion is considered male by the NRS animation team so that's why Cage is so good against her in Outtake, since he has all his tools and shuts down her zoning with his new projectiles.

But, if it makes you feel better, Raiden has a female hitbox to even it out.

And he DESTROYED Cage with kitana. Problem? Do you see any imbalance here? Counterpicks happen all the time.

How many times do you need this explained. Here, i'll draw it in crayon:

Cage:
1KB combo + 2bars + mandatory 30%health = 50%
FB = 35% + mandatory 30%health (FOR BOTH COMBOS)

TOTAL: 85% unbreakable

Just an example, but I can do this for the whole cast
Kabal:

db4KB + FB combo + mandatory 30%health = 50%
Throw KB: 31% anytime he wants
b12d2KB 21% unbreakable + extra anytime he wants

Total: 102% unbreakable with no conditions

Do you want me to start for Geras? Kang? Believe me you don't want to go there lol.

You're literally complaining about unbreakable damage that EVERYONE HAS, but you blabber off only about Cage.
That's what's annoying about you Cage upplayers, you literally complain about COMMON TOOLS and make it look like only cage has them.

That KB from db4 is also from a COUNTER which you get non stop from whiff punishing.

That's peculiar, I don't recall a single post of mine saying he's low tier.

The problem is being top tier with the rest of the top tiers is not enough for some as twitter is full with nerf requests and Cage is broken claims.

And also while he's top tier when he works, against twelve female hitboxes it decreases significantly. Everyone is dismissing this like it's nothing while he actually loses half his toolset.

Cage. Top tier at 100%. Same top tier at 50%. Logic at 0%.

Go on and show me this 50% unbreakable of Johnny in competitive gameplay and people that are doing it constantly. Most of the times SonicFox was doing arround 39-40% unbreakable and then you can breakaway.

To be honest I consider to drop that piece of shi....

Game is awful. Why?

1. FB moves are totally unfair. You can get attack which can take 320.00 of health, has armor, sometimes its very hard to react. In my opinion FB should eat all bars to be activated. I lost almost 90% of my fights coz somebody used this as a panic button. I had advantage but FB finished me off.

2. Bars menagment is trash. Why they changed MK9 and MKX mechanics ??!!!

3. KL is shit. I didnt play KL for few days. I stuck in master rank. When I started to play I got two ranks in 2,5 H coz for every fight I got over 150 pts. My idea for poins:

• for every win fight you will get 25 pts, for every lose - 25 pts
• if you will win more fights you will get multiplier
• Higher streak = bigger multiplier
• max will be x4 or x 5
• If you will lose fight then your multiplier will reset

So: you win 3 fights in the row you will get points x2, 5 fights x 3, 8 fights x 4, 10 fights x 5 (max)

1. 50% of variations are so weak so nobody use them
2. Where are dash blocks ??!!!!!
3. I have strange feeling that every character missing something....
4. Character without good mid attacks are trash. If you dont good mid then you are fu.....ed
5. Pokes should have priority over throws
6. throws take too much damage - 2 throws = good combo !!!

While you're waiting here's a 40% unbreakable from Jacqui without a KB or FB that she can do anytime she wants, and more than once per match

But this is with easy KB ON and its a 2 KB, and there is like literally zero chance to get camera KB set in a competitive game.
Sonic has done 35-40% on TS KB at best.

the combat league is really something which turns out to be actually something which hurts the game.
you could find with ease people in casual- comp mode but since the seasons are going is harder and harder to find people there.

playing combat league with the shit show of 150 ping cap+wifi being allowed and no region filter which of course turns out be then even worse than that which doesnt matter because 150 is to high anyway. its so fucking infuriating seeing people there flowchart like fucking retards all day because hey, its laggy as fuck and you cant punish it so letse goo...

i have to ckeck lobbies out or king of the hill to see if its better because as of know it slowly start to become pointless to practice/play when you barely get any good matches. that nr is still to retarded to implement a simple fucking filter for you to set up prior search...maybe in mk15

on PC version, there's too many players desynchronizing the matches when they're getting ready to lose.
I dont know if they're holding a lag switch button or simply closing the MK 11 app.
It's a shame. PC isn't fun at all

You may find some non- kompetitive Koth, and 1v1 matches.
No one is playing kompetitive except KL.
Also, the rooms arent occupied either. the most players that will dwell in rooms all together is 4 people.
it's dead. thats at night i dont know about the day time
