Heh, I play smash and "friendlies" are known as just playin eachother for fun / to get better -- not being completely competitive. I sent that shortly after u were talkin bout the forum bein dead :D

Oh...My...God... Crazy stuff right there. I thought I was innovative when I came up with ONE 55% combo with subz... That's pretty awesome.

The online play today has pissed me off beyond belief.... I haven't played against anything but spammers. Absolutely rediculous...

For instance -- I played against this one Sindel in ranked, flawless victoried her the first round ez mode. From thereon out, all she did was jump backwards and projectile, land then low projectile, jump backwards projectile, etc. etc. rinse and repeat and won the next 2 round cus I had absolutely no way to approach.

Ermacs are absolutely overpowered zoners as well. If u do manage to even hit them, their wake-up specials leave them invincible and set u up for either a 35% combo every time, or they send u to the other side of the screen so even when they're on the ground u gotta hold the f***ing block button, therefore not being able to capitalize on the fact that ur close, so they have the freedom to run away and spam more.

It's all good. I figured you were a smash player when you said Friendly. With me coming from the Street Fighter scene, we always joked about that. Because friankly, there's nothing friendly about Street Fighter either. lol

If your in Jacksonville and wanna play some MK come to Qball Tuesday night at 9pm. They usually play until close. It's on Xbox. Qball is on Beach Blvd not too far from Southside Blvd.

Seeing as how we are all in florida, would you guys that are XBL be down for an online tournament? King of the hill is out of the question due to lag, but 1v1 is bearable(As long as no one has the same dial up everyone else seems to have online) We could gather all the players, organize a date and time, and all join a voice chat party, and go from there.

Edit: How long you gonna be in Miami? I wish it was a night that was gonna be strictly MK, but they'll be playing SF4 and Mahvel too. One night Ima have an open house for MK.

Great matches last night

Myself(ignorant bizzle) behind the light and nick has some great king of the hill action last night. The lag was almost non existent due to the fact the ping times were low cause we are all from fl. Look me up tonight like 11p. We are learning together and were able to make each other better last night!

You learn about a lot of different playstyles and advanced techniques from other people who want to take this to a competitive level. It's also a great way to learn how to fight against other characters, cus online it's the usual Scorp, Kung Lao, Smoke, over and over again. People have REAL mains this way.

Alright guys, THIS SATURDAY, MAY 7TH, me and justplainjay are hosting a friendly casuals/serious tournament for mk9 in MIAMI, FL.

LOCATION: Near 152nd street and 157th lane (near the publix/gamestop) everyone parks in that shopping plaza and we will carpool to jay's house which is literally down the street.

TIME: Pre signups start at 5:30pm and close at 5:59pm, the actual tournament is from 8:00pm-10pm+, Casuals are from 6:00pm-8:00pm

Notes: We will have 3 tvs with 3 Xbox360s with the game.

****PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN CONTROLLER****

We will also be collecting 2 bucks per head for pizza/drinks/chips. We will be ordering from little ceasers pizza

If anyone is interested drop me a pm and I'll give you contact info with directions if needed.

We really hope to make this a friendly weekly gathering, and really hope to see more there!

Hey guys, this is happening at my place, if anything changes from above we'll let you know. And don't forget, we play games for fun, so all skill levels are welcome, but please guys, and I can't stress this enough:
