You can definitely count on me being there for monthlies. It's nice knowing that there ARE actually people around, and people who are actually competitive! I can't commit to coming Thursdays yet (stupid class), but I'll try to pop in on occasion if I have some free time and not be a stranger. I think we're definitely headed towards some good stuff, just took the effort of finally getting even a few of us together. Once we add in the people from Huntsville and anyone that was out for Anime Weekend Atlanta, we should be in for some fun.

Haha now I'm working on pocket characters. Can't leave anything up to chance with you guys.

It was a blast to hang and play with you guys. I'll do my best to get my local group up with me (we meet on Thursdays but have erratic schedules) and I will definitely be up there for monthlies at the very least.

Been messing with reptile, ravenous mileena, sonya, and dvorah. You guys definitely need to give rep a try. f412~bf2 njp, f42, run, f124~bf4 34% midscreen meterless. He is so much fun to play.

No, SIR! Please put Reptile down now. I don't want to deal with those problems. I've been running into him a lot online and Mileena struggles. I guess it won't hurt to have another person to figure out the matchup.

@jaythatruth you'll definitely have to make it some time. If we'd like to start scheduling some other tentative meetups aside from Thursdays at Top Games, I'd totally be down. Saturdays and Sundays are best for me, but I can usually swing Friday nights too. There's always Press Start in Alabaster.

I'll definitely agree, you guys have revitalized my interest. I wasn't to the point of QUITTING, but I was definitely thinking it was useless. Now I'm learning some more characters to stay competitive. Gotta make some $$$$$ from these tournaments!

Press Start is always the move for me. It's open until 2am on weekends. I wish I could've been there but I made top 16 winners at the Madden Tournament. Could've bought back into it to try and make it to the money, but I was so sick that I went and laid down next to a pool table. I had fun though. I am definitely going to be back heavy on MKX though.

Top Games and Press Start are virtually the same distance from me, but the late hours are awesome. Downside is also the $10 entry, but the earlier we get there, the better the deal lol.

For me, the biggest appeal is WEEKEND. It was great being able to chill all Saturday and get some games in, can't do that nearly as well on a Tuesday or Thursday because of class and then work Wednesday/Friday.

I'd be completely down for a bi-weekly system IF we could use weekends.

Last Saturday of the month, Get Money Monthlies (@Top Games) seems like that's how they schedule from what I can tell.
Second Saturday of the month, Casuals (@ Press Start or OTHER if someone knows a venue) Press Start is good because they're open late.

I feel that would give everyone the opportunity to get together more often and if someone can't make one event, hopefully they can make the other. @skrone @JJV Phoenix @Solo @jaythatruth

Of course there's always the WEEKLY casuals at Top Games on Thursdays for those that can make it.

Now that we HAVE the community and know we can exist, we just have to strengthen it and expand. I'm looking forward to more fun times. Gotta get mad training in for KIT 2016

Yea Thursdays will be difficult for me because I don't get off until ten. Friday and Sundays are always good for me. I am always down for Press Start on weekends because of it being open so late. Anything on the weekends I am good.

Okay. If anyone wants to come to Press Start on Friday I will surely be there playing MKX. Doesn't matter which system, I've grown fond of the ps4 controller for this game, granted I struggle with D'Vorah bug cancels with it. Everything else is fine

I'll see if I can swing by, I'm going to Six Flags Saturday and was thinking of making an ATL trip Friday just because, but I could probably afford to delay that a bit. I'll have to check with the lady and get back to you guys.

@jaythatruth it definitely helps that you're going to be there regardless. That way I can swing by if I have time, and if not then there's no real loss lol you still get to have your fun

Yea, I go to Press Start literally every Friday, aside from this past Friday. Since I don't have a ps4, I have no issue spending a few bucks playing MKX for hours on that console. I honestly like the game a lot more on PS4 aside from XB1. I thought the controller would be an issue, but it turns out that it's not an issue at all. Muscle Memory works wonders.

Very late, but better late than never. I had a lot of fun last Saturday. @skrone @MyronJ @JJV Phoenix Playing the Mileena's, Kitana's, Sonya's, and Jax was exciting. I was hoping the SF players would have joined us. :( Sadly, the only character I know is Liu Kang to a very mediocre level. If we get this Alabama scene going I'm sure we'll all level up. Hell, if we get to know each other well enough we can go out to majors together. It'll cut the price of travelling greatly, and actually make the trip worth going.

My weekends are a bit tricky. I honestly have to plan in advance for them. Friday I work from 6AM to 10PM. And Saturday and Sunday I work the evening shift. I use to work the morning shift, idk why they switched me back.


Normally, I'm off Monday(but I go to school on Monday and Wednesday at night) and Thursday. Like I said, if I know in advance what's going down I can make plans.

I will be at Press Start quite often because I don't have a ps4. The best times I can play at least for an extended period of time is Friday-Sunday. My schedule will change in a month, but until then whenever you guys want to play I'm definitely down

I have a bone crushing school schedule. (working on dual degrees, math and physics and a full time job) so I most def need notice. Weekends are going to vary by the week depending on how much schoolwork I have to do. Can probably make it out at least a couple weekends a month though. @jaythatruth I need you to show me that Dvorah dirt! Where is Press Start btw?

If you're on 31 going towards Alabaster from Hoover, once you pass the hospital/Arby's on the left, there will be a street on the right a few hundred feet beyond that. It will be on that corner on the right.

@jaythatruth I main Jax, working up Reptile as my second, I have been wanting to get my D'vorah to be at least passable. Dabbling in demo Sonya, and Mileena. Always down to swap Jax dirt.

She's down to third but she is probably still my best character though. Jax and Cassie are who I've been spending most time with lately.
