Not sure if it's been mentioned before (did a quick search, nothing came up) - but if you're remapping keys on your PC, it glitches out on your inputs.
On my config (Custom1 ingame), I've swapped RB and RT - the block and interact buttons. When pressing the button singular, the correct input shows. When pressing 1234+block (now RB), 1234+RT (now interact) comes out in the game. It's literally going back to whatever the default inputs are, and selectively ignores your config mapping.
I'll also have issues where if another player plugs in a USB pad and has different settings (saved as and using Custom2), random settings will be overwritten mid-match - even after checking both profiles to ensure they're correct.
This is most noticeable since I (on a stick, using Custom1) play with Alternate Control and Input Shortcuts ON and the pad player played with all of them set to OFF. I'll perform a BF3 input, and mere seconds later, perform it again and it will not come out. Check settings, and alternate controls is now set to OFF.
Even had instances of Negative Edge turning itself on - despite both of us playing with it OFF!
As much as I love this game, online play is unplayable in any strictly competitive practice sense - but if I can't even play offline casuals, then there's really no point me attempting to play or practice this game at all.
I don't really want to have to spend $550AUD or so just to have a functional console + game port in the first place.
