Professor Oak
Are you a boy or girl?
Bill, Strange things are afoot at the Circle (m)K.
I think it's both. Another instance of an armored move won't launch unless in this case you meterburn an extra bar for it. You pay 1 bar for the multi armor of the move, but just like with the regular version, you have to pay to also launch (plus make it safe). I think Mileena's EX roll will be the same (still armored overhead, but MB to juggle like with the changed meterless version).I thought the Goro gif was implying that ExPW doesn't launch on hit unless you spend another bar.
Looks more like to me that he can MB it to make it safe. EX Punchwalk may not be safe on block anymore.I thought the Goro gif was implying that ExPW doesn't launch on hit unless you spend another bar.
What's your low option here? b+3,2? d+4? How you gonna set that 50/50 up?Umm... ok...
I don't see where me playing him has any relevancy to what I said
B3 is his low and his overhead is overhead slash. People ducking Tele flurry can also be launched. What's your low option here? b+3,2? d+4? How you gonna set that 50/50 up?
I love the idea of more meter management. Want some dmg? Spend some meter.I think in this patch meter spending is going through the roof across the cast, and I think that's a good thing (if done right and all).
It's a shame that 50/50 is just applied to any mixup that involves launchers. Unless they're making OS a ton faster (Which it does not appear to be in that gif) this is nowhere near a 50/50.B3 is his low and his overhead is overhead slash. People ducking Tele flurry can also be launched.
It's not a really good or like your average alien-esque 50 50. But now he has both options that launch. which he didn't before.
Takedas mixups are about the same speed as this and people get caught. But just in general sense speed doesn't dictate if it's a 50 50 or not. He has a low and now he has an overhead. It's a shame that 50/50 is just applied to any mixup that involves launchers. Unless they're making OS a ton faster (Which it does not appear to be in that gif) this is nowhere near a 50/50.
That looks cool! If the ball explosion is plus on block then it gives him a lot of new setups off Knockdown
I'm not a Dualist main so I'm not sure if this is big or not (I've only seen some of forever el1te tournament footage and other good dualists in some videos but that's all) maybe as part of his pressure where he set ups orbs and changes from one to another can be exploited (though I think I remember his midscreen pressure pushing beyond the orbs so maybe corner only? edit: or wakeup setups as said before). Anyway I think making both versions interact with each other is good, not for balance but for "thematic" reasons, it gives purpose to both being fused on the same variation and I hope Metallic gets synergies too.
MKXXL was the proposed term back in the daySo many huge changes shown already and it's 3 days before the balance stream. This is going to essentially be an entirely new game we are playing. NRS should have just dropped KP3 on us and released all of this as UMKXL. I'd have happily paid.
Can't wait to see what else they have up their sleeve.
I'll have to test if my EX Iceball can stop this red orb.
Two hits of armor?! Holy shiz.
The orb exploding isnt new tech, but the setups to be used will be. I imagine ending combos with string, dark ball into say f213 ss string light ball may explode the dark ball, but we'll see.
Now we have a serious problem as GMSZ. If it's like this against Sub Zero, then they might have nerfed him.Two hits of armor?! Holy shiz.
Hopefully they made his ex shocker a mid
Now that I think about it maybe its not two hits of armor and he is actually hitting subzero therefore the clone dissapears. But it might be two hits. Two hits of armor?! Holy shiz.
Hopefully they made his ex shocker a mid
It's just that I have never seen it before. I saw some combos involving multiple red orbs a while ago.The orb exploding isnt new tech, but the setups to be used will be. I imagine ending combos with string, dark ball into say f213 ss string light ball may explode the dark ball, but we'll see.
