Umm I would be quite fine playing him lol, I am not scared of bane by any means, and DS doesnt do bad vs him. Why would playing max change that???? I will break down the matchup and be successful in it (have played max before online and he is definitely very good, but I caught on to things as our set went on., bane no where near broke)
techno tackle is 100% the reason I don't try and play cyborg anymore. Instead of doing anything else I constantly get caught up in trying to tackle the shit out of people and get blown up for it.

Personal opinion, I don't think a wake-up that's high risk low reward is considered a top 5 wake-up. I think DS does have good wake-ups because of option select and not being able to stuff them, but IMO it's not on par with teleporters, Batgirl, MMH, Killer Frost wake-ups where they actually get full combos or get out of jail for free.
I swear upon my firstborn child the matchup isn't as bad as you think.
