Nice ha I'm gonna call you the Clive destroyer. Oh busted character with absurd tools? No matter for The Legend! Yea there's a cut off but I forgot what it was, like last 6 months or something like that, I can't remember the exact running time but 6 months sounds right. Or close to it. Something in say like last March would have fallen out.
Some dude last year created some tech type script that records everyone's matches from God to Beginner ranks from the leaderboard and makes a mass file that has anyone's matches, the day and time, the set count, etc. It's pretty cool. People can even download the file if they want for their own matches. Also each month there's a "usage" article that gets posted that shows how many of each character was used by %, their win/loss, how each character did in high ranks vs mid ranks vs low, etc, so like my character wins a lot in beginner ranks when people use her, but at higher ranks doesn't win as much, things like that.
Clive was so prevalent I was forced to learn the matchup. Luckily no good player uses Clive, at these ranks anyway.

It's always funny to me when Tekken players complain about Tekken 8's "lack of defensive options". Immediately outed as a Tekken only player, no perspective.Something funny about the Tekken community is that they’re elitist (not necessarily in a bad way) about the game. Many only play tekken. And don’t want much to do with any other fighting games. Especially other 3d fighters like Virtua Fighter or DOA.
Yet when you play tekken with them, everyone craps on the game. Honestly Tekken players bond over criticizing the game more than they bond over talking about how good the game is
Even me and my training partner talk about how ass Tekken 8 is, yet we play consistently and compete when we can.
I've been balls deep in SF6. Might have to hop back over to T8. I haven't played a single game since Clive came out, still.
I'm still having a blast with it. There should be a large update in the next couple months that'll add new moves and balance changes for every character too.
I didn't stop playing because of Clive or anything, just coincidence that I stopped around that time. What really happened is I planned to play both, but I SUCKED at SF. Bad. Like I couldn't do the specials consistently. So I started practicing and I joined a discord and 2 months later I feel like a full blown Street Fighter. Haha.
Often times Tekken doesn't even feel like a Fighting Game tbh haha. But when it does the game is crack
Will definitely get back into it soon, I wanna learn Panda because my Fiance, who never gives a shit about Fighting Games, says that's her favorite character in any game.
Bears are fun. Panda is infinitely less bullshit than Kuma thanks to the Heat difference but She's still solid. Only reason people place her as Bottom 1 is because she's redundant. If I ever get fed up dealing with mashing monkey's Kuma is my go-too, having such good wiff punishment and "Fuck You" buttons feels great.

Its funny cause I've never closely followed pro wrestling. The aesthetic and personality naturally appeal to me I guess. The only wrestling thing I'm a fan of is Macho Man and that just because he's hilarious.
