I keep seeing some people say that X character sucks and needs to be buffed, but I also keep hearing Tekken vets say that this game is super balanced and everyone is viable.
Like apparently Asuka is the 2nd worst character in the game but people are still winning tournaments with her.
I mean really, if you want to learn Kazumi, learn Kazumi. Yeah there are characters with better tools and you can learn them quicker (depends), but it's also about who you like. I'm thinking about learning Kazumi too, but I have zero interest in Nina.
If I wanted a character that was all about results, and not about who I ACTUALLY like and want to play, then I would be spending 100% of my time with Leo (since she is apparently considered the best character in the game easy). But I'm currently not interested in that character. I am, however, interested in Gigas despite all the bad things people have to say about him. 1), I like my big bodies, and 2) I sometimes feel I should play characters that no one is playing -- like Bo' Rai Cho in MKX. I don't care if he's the worst in the game. If I can get results then I will get those results, even if it takes some time.
By the way, I'm not saying that the characters that are considered to be weaker SHOULDN'T get buffed, I'm just saying that if they are viable and you want to play them, then play them.
