Telling me to get top 8's when you are a random and not one person knows you. How about you get top 8's consistently ? A character doesn;t have to consistently get top8's to be good weirdo

The character isn't bad. Revet has shown on multiple occasions what the character is capable of. He is confident enough to have anyone challenge and say he will do work and then proceeds to do work with the character. You saying she's "pretty bad" is just based off of the struggles you had a little bit back with the character, stop letting that decide your placement of characters in the current meta.

it's not even something that would need fixing/nerfing. It's working as intended from what I understand.

It's not situational and i don't know why people are asking for this nerfed. Maybe they are joking maybe not, idk

It's based on frame data and experience both, really. As much as I appreciate your positive outlook, I need evidence before I'll believe that she's anything but mid tier. Anybody can call me out on disbelieving but I doubt that asking for proof on claims is anything but reasonable.

Pyro is better than people think. He is not saying the she is the best in the game... he is saying she is up with the top 10. After seeing the proof... I believe it

Yeah, I didnt think much of her from an on-paper standpoint, but @RevetLeafing has done some serious work with her, beating characters that are considered very strong, while played by players mostly considered very strong. That makes me think Tanya is good. I dont think shes top 5 or anything, but chicky is extremely strong.

Also, at least from what little ive played of her so far, shes damn fun. And yea, I started looking in to her after Revet's thread. Hell i forgot Pyro was even *in* the game. Saw the thread, saw what she could do, and *shrug*

As to the post at hand, I dont think anyone is claiming this little tech/glitch/working-as-intended-interaction, whatever, is going to suddenly win Evo or make her top 3, but it never hurts to know more about a character you are playing as or against. Its not some insane HTB into 33/33/33 into reset into 80% damage into a tuna sandwich but its nice, its something that could be pulled out in a match under the right circumstances, its just not something you would 'chase' in a match, thats all.

Sadly some people here follow the philosophy that "if its not broken, its not a tech"

IMO a tech doesn't need to break the rules of the game to be considered tech, a tech is something that will work on the right circustances, being OP or not the option is there, i don't think this is game break at all, but as @DDutchguy said, i can see this being used on situations where the opponent is already shrouded and gets hit by a jk into this.

Rather than look for it after a shroud, some people way of thinking is just way too superficial and cannot see beyond many techs that has been shared on TYM sadly.

Already proven in my "Pyromancer has best Zoning" thread, if you still don't believe she is good after all that I put, and the people I exposed, then yeash, look elsewhere, not gonna beg you to consider her good, when I and everybody else knows she is. Goodnight. Have a good one

Hey man, because of you and My friend who has an irritating Tanya, I have decided to learn her. she seems like a lot of fun with the mobility.
What I have noticed watching the Kitana RS v Tanya PM matches is that you were out playing one of them at least because you adapted as they were winning early on. I do not know how good she is right now, her buttons and moved seem good to me, not enough to nerf....

Still waiting for that GM set...

I want to watch DN sets. When Tanya dropped, I picked up DN and after like two days and several hand cramps I said fuck this, my old man hands cant DN, but I still think she has some of the coolest looking combos and such in the game.

Why is DN better than it was??? I have never been able to play it so I have no idea, but I thought it was a little nerfed.

The meta crippled mobility characters overall, Tanya on the other hand can still move without the use of stamina.

She can be very hard to chase after without committing too many mistakes on certain MU, the damage has been nerfed for sure, so her regular BnBs doesn't go as further even with a bar if you don't put work into it.

She also doesn't care much about advancing normals, and the poking game, although she is still punishable in some choices she can make along the way, she can also manipulate those same holes in favor of her playstyle, where on a correct read you punish her, but if she manipulates it, she gets rewarded just the same.

I have always believed DN does better than Pyro against sub, with dn its too easy
