its not off a single projectile... its off two of them that have to hit simultaneously and get full combo punished if THEY JUST HOLD BLOCK AFTER GETTING HIT BY DUST

lol cmon guys. I am not even a Tanya main and I am confused by this post...
I'm not talking about what was literally shown in the video as in hitting a dust and doing the EX fireball immediately after because as you said, you just block.

I'm saying that if you dust someone, you now have a very dangerous option to work with. Depending on how hard it is for both balls to hit at the same time, if you land a jump-in punch or kick at any time (be it off of a teleport or not) you can now cash out nearly 40%. That sounds at least like something that is good.

It's pretty hard to make them both hit and even so let's say you get hit by dust and they for some reason u don't block or aa them. they then have to time it so both hit at the exact same time you're still only taking 36-40% that's a regular metered combo from literally every character in the game.

When her ex dust is blocked she does struggle to get out of the corner and her ex flip is hella punishable when blocked, and is getting out of the corner with a teleport a thing when its read or against the button mashes? Just ok

I want to add to this discussion that this isn't the only case of same frame hits causing a problem (though from the other situations you don't get as much damage):

When you're using a hard-to-blockable setup, if both hits occur at the same frame, the damage scaling of one of them is completely ignored resulting on a higher combo damage than if one of the hits take place before the other. In some cases the damage increase can be big as a 0.9/0.8 damage scaling could be ignored at the beginning of a combo.

The root of this thread problem and the damage scaling problem seems to be related to how the game processes actions occuring during the same frame, something like calculating the damage the next frame after making sure the game reads if more than one hit happened and processes the damage scaling of each one and asigns buffs like Tanya's dust to only one of them, would fix everything.

Yeah idk. You get 36% for a bar off of F3 or F3 cancelled into B3 anyways.
For one bar:
F3 Fully Charged gets 40%
Low gets 34%

And also, it was just a unique thing that she has, I probably wouldn't use this in a real match though, but it had happened plenty of times during a real match

Ok let's be real. This has literally only 1 realistic use. It can be used to hit jumping opponents for good damage with longer range than njp, but it's not even guaranteed to have both hit at the same time to get the big damage. The opponent shouldn't be getting hit by this and having it blocked means you eat a full combo.

I said it before and i'll say it again, I most likely WON'T use this in a real match, it was just something that I wanted to share that looks cool. You cannot deny how awesome this looks
