Question Sub-Zero: list of projectiles that can be slid under

YES!
i looked around the forums for a bit and i couldn't find a complete list of all projectiles than can be crushed by Ice Slide

if someone can direct me to a thread that does or provide a complete list themselves i'd appreciate it. Also, such a list should be stickied
 
I don't know if there's a thread for it. But I know that Sonya's rings and Kang's high fireballs can be slid under. Most projectiles in the game can't, I think.

I wish I could test it out but my PS3 is not working at the moment. Anyways here's a fun fact: Sheeva's MID-HITTING fire ball can be avoided by slide, but some HIGH-HITTING projectiles cannot. MK9....

Isn't it also range dependent? I've hit sub with Sektor's straight missile when I've fired early and he's gone underneath when I fired late.

Hmm...i might test this out today if i have time. Good idea though, i never thought about seeing which ones you can and which ones you cant.

Strangely, CSZ can slide under these as well....Reptile too?

Though are you sure about Sheevas fireball?

Yeah maybe the closer you are the more likely idk...

also included:
Kabal's gas blast (aerial and grounded)
Mileena's sais (aerial)
Jade's boomerang (anti-air and high)
Sindel's spit (high)
Stryker's gun shot and high grenade (low grenade is position dependent)
Cage's high force ball (low forceball is position dependent)

Does anyone know if you can slide Kenshi's teleflurry?

I'll try think of more later...(if there are any)

You CAN NOT go under Mileena's ground sai.

Make sure you do these during the first few frames, too. Otherwise you'll slide head-first into a projectile.

Also keep in mind that if you use EX Slide as a counter, running into a projectile closer to the opponent is likely to throw off your armor.

You can slide under kenshis telefurry if you are low enough when the first hit becomes active.

i just did it.... you can't slide them if you are late on reacting ... but once sub is in the slide animation he won't' get hit.

hell... goto practice... use quan chi and make sub the p2. set wakeup attack to on.... throw skulls... he'll not get it with them on armor at all. they just whiff over his head.

so slide lowers hitbox mid animation?
