OP, I mostly blame your concerns on this disgusting hype culture we're living in. They won't tell you what you paid for because they want the FLASHIEST REVEALS and people going "WAAAAAAAAAAH I TOTALLY DIDNT EXPECT THAT" and hypehypehype.

In a normal world, the fucking text below the option to purchase the Kombat Pack would at least tell you which characters are you buying. This shit applies to lots of games too.

all this bullshit just because some weirdos like to watch other weirdos fake react to a trailer. most of the time neither the reactor nor the the viewer give a shit about the product. everyone wants to be part of popculture like goddamn npcs. the ultimate greedy and soulless corporation deal would be something like thanos with a starwars lightsaber in mortal kombat.

I don’t think the “battle pass” is actually a thing. Just characters, skins, and gear sets.
