The dudes who happen to get early copies and stuff always, without failure, every single time end up:

• showing things we've already seen (i.e Erron Black's Fatality earlier from this thread)
• showing a big thing we have not seen yet but very briefly and with as little details as possible (Frost)
• showing a random amount of random things we have not seen (i.e Kitana, Skarlet, Noob Saibot, Erron Black, Shao Kahn skins)
• taking pictures with their phones even though every system nowadays has a built-in screenshot function. I understand phone pics are faster though, but still
• disappearing shortly afterwards

Like, literally every single time this happens lol.

Sorry to say, but she probably is one of the characters who has the least amount of hype surrounding them. But I will cross my fingers for you someone does some in depth leaks of every character on the roster.

I think the Mileena stance takes 2 slots!

If that was the case, then it would take up two slots. At least, that was the case in the beta. Also, I don't think that's her Mileena stance.

yeah that variation is missing the ground square boost slot to be in pair to what they said would be one of her variations so either the variations in game are still incomplete until the day one patch or they decided to change it (which I doubt)

Seeing as she isn't a default cyber ninja, I'm wondering how that's gonna play into the story since she definitely does have a cyber skin from the old roster image leak, and will eventually be cyberized in story from the information in the trophy leak. I don't think it'll be bald either, but the armor was a darker blue and her skin was much more of a bluish-pale than it is on her default. I actually kind of dug it, but not nearly as much as her normal skin now.

Her moveset is definitely going to have to be flexible to fit the cyber skin as well, and I'll assume that the animations and sound effects for it are going to change once you get her into cyber mode like Cyrax and Sektor in MK9. Since most of the roster has a teleport, I wouldn't be surprised if she inherited Sektor's teleport punch as a move either!

I'll probably be keeping her in a Lin Kuei ninja outfit in human form, but I'm still really curious as to how she'll be once she turns. Also, if she's unlocked during Chapter 4, does that mean Frost gets her own chapter? I'd love that, especially if we finally get to see a proper sifu-student relationship between her and Sub-Zero. I've always been curious as to what terms they were on before she went ahead and betrayed him for the Dragon Medallion in the old timeline, and with the new timeline, I hope they don't repeat the same mistake of making her entirely unlikeable personality wise with no chemistry at all with Kuai Liang before she turns to Kronika. I think I've said this before, but she's probably going to play out similar to Damian Wayne in INJ2 and his relationship with Batman before he turns to Super-Man in story mode, but I'd hope it gets a little bit more fleshed out before that.

I always wanted a storyline where Sub & Frost were literally on the run from the Tekunin, being hunted. Give them a chance to bond, then have her betray Sub in order to save her own skin. But that backfired on her, leading to her own capture/cyberization. Then she has a hostile takeover of the Tekunin, renames herself Frostbyte, and hunts down Sub herself for one final showdown.

Well, a ton of my negatives are off the table now with some info we've gotten. So, that's a big plus.

I guess the only thing I have a remaining issue with is the region exclusive skins. And that's it.

The sai is a part of her gear deconfirming Mileena as part of her Variants. The sai in her gear means it is part of her base movelist. This is really damning evidence.

 

I’m not really understanding why the sai is Kitana’s third gear option when she doesn’t even use it unless you have that stance equipped.

I wish they would’ve let you change something else.

 

Can someone tell the leaker to look at preset variations not tournament?

We need them for all characters before they are booted from game. One of the Reddit leakers was booted out of game.

Umm what? They said on stream that it was a customizable move, whether it is a pre-set variation or not is still in the air but it is 100% not one of her base moves

EDIT: pretty sure it’s one of her hear pieces because it’s always in her back even if she doesn’t have that stance in her slots so yeah

That’s what it sounds like, which can’t be correct. I think he thinks “tournament variations” are something different than “pre-set variations”. I responded to his comment for clarification.

That Half-Blood stance looks seriously good. That Sai Stabs special goes into KB and the Up Sai is similar to pre-patch Sektor up missles, and the Telekick is Strong af. I'm gonna be exploring it for sure. I posted her frame data in the Kitana discussion thread, I used a program to break it down frame by frame.
