"Creative thought"? I was discussing creative control, which they most certainly do have.bioware dosent have creative thought like you assume dude.
not like they used to before going to ea
they dont have creative control and also you do realize mass effect 4 will be done by the guys who did the mp right?"Creative thought"? I was discussing creative control, which they most certainly do have.
Also, some of the people that work there are very talented and creative. David Gaider, for example, is one of the best in the biz.
How do you know this? Internet rumor? Groups of outraged fans searching for answers because ME3 wasn't the totally amazing game they dreamed about? BioWare employees have stated that they have control over their products, and in my experience, publishers tend not to get overly grabby with their cash cow studios.they dont have creative control...
have you played mass effect 3 dragon age 2 ? that alone should tell you dudeHow do you know this? Internet rumor? Most of the blame for perceived ME3 creative faults are normally directed at Casey Hudson, an executive producer who has been with BioWare for over a decade. More accurately, the real problem was an excess of expectation. People expected perfection, and when it wasn't delivered, they flipped out and looked for someone to blame. Never mind that sometimes collaborative creative endeavors don't produce consistently excellent results...
So you don't care for the game, therefore BioWare did not have creative control? Was it previously impossible for BioWare to make a game that you personally didn't like?have you played mass effect 3 dragon age 2 ? that alone should tell you dude
i liked mass effect 3, i've play the first and 2nd one, the ending is the only thing i see wrong with it, but different strokes for different folks.... on the other hand i would love a KOTOR 3, i still play both KOTOR 1 and 2 on my pc, and they are top 10 of my most favorite games of all time, i can't wait to see a next gen kotor, i am also a subscriber to the old republic, but i haven't played in two weeks, i must have a shit ton of rested xp LOLhave you played mass effect 3 dragon age 2 ? that alone should tell you dude

Dreaming of what a game could be and actually making that game are very different things. Perhaps the game of your dreams would've been awful if played by Zyphox or LanceMonsoon...as far as im concerned mass effect 1 and 2 only exist to me and i rewrote mass effect 3 with my own vision on how it shouldve been done
no im not one of those people who feel entitled or go on the record of saying owning it. look if i play or even watch something and really dislike it i take my time and basicly rewrite it.Dreaming of what a game could be and actually making that game are very different things. Games are a difficult art. Players have agency and therefore they often feel like they have creative ownership. This isn't (and really cannot be) the case, and the most passionate fans are often the ones most bitterly disappointed when the game does not live up to thing they imagined.
Why don't you ACTUALLY do it then?no im not one of those people who feel entitled or go on the record of saying owning it. look if i play or even watch something and really dislike it i take my time and basicly rewrite it.
for example i hated every ounce of iron man 3 and keep in mind i dont read the iron man books but i do have this thing where i tend to think of what i saw and go ok as a movie goer how would i have done this film.
its just something i do
I guess because I only comment on things I know about, which is why you don't see my gorgeous mug in the pro-wrestling thread. Also, game developers love games, but we love reading our own drivel even more, so we can't resist opining on everything remotely game-related.Why don't you ACTUALLY do it then?
Not sure how you manage to get into conversations like this on every board I see you at Ilthuain.
Yes, it just seems the people I always see you communicating with, don't haha.I guess because I only comment on things I know about, which is why you don't see my gorgeous mug in the pro-wrestling thread.
