chip trait really made me happy when I was watching that video. cyborg's IAFB is not easy to do, pretty sure relaxed was steaming after that loss. The matchup really depends on who gets the lifelead, for Grundy the rule is no other trait than chip trait against a cyborg. For Cyborg it is probably GTFaway from Grundy at all times.

O yeah lol. Mike knew just the perfect amount of spacing to avoid chip and with trait make it it minimal. It was pretty awesome lol. I was NOT expecting that at all. When I realized I had to take my little Cyborg into that massive hulk to win I thought "o shit". Cyborg rushdown is going to be tough against Grundy. I tried to catch him off guard with grapple in, but he was on point the very first one and his anti-air were on Tommy Wafflez level. Mike patience, spacing and adaption was on point. I got to give it to him. Vggs.

I am going to have to think about how to deal with Grundy in situations where he has a life lead and defense trait up. I think Cyborg has no choice to go in. And he can't grapple in, he must dash in. With great risk. A lot of risk.

That said. This is not a 8-2. May not even be 7-3. Have to put MU on the backburner for a bit. If this weekend has taught us anything is that these charecters still have mystery, and the player factor is huge

Something I noticed when I was watching the mike metroid vs relaxed state video is that after you get the chip trait (with a lifelead) all you have to do is duck against cyborg's IAFB because it is a high (of course you have to move a bit when he jump MB's his fireballs and his unblockable bombs) but otherwise when there is no reason to take any chip even if you are traited. This forces Cyborg to do repeated ground fireballs, I haven't played the game in a while but I believe when you force cyborg to do that you can get in a MB swamp hands and take even more damage.

Mikemetroid that is some of the best Grundy play i've seen from you in a long time. Seriously. If you didn't drop a few of the trait grab inputs against Cyborg... those matches would of been even more lop sided. Kudos to you and how much you leveled up. It was a thing of beauty man.

Mikemetroid watchin these matches now , good shit , i was just wonderin y do u do after an air throw ,, dash ji2 mix up -does that cross up ?? it looked like it did a couple of times vs relaxedstate

edit / yo good stuff man i didnt know you could empty jump on the corpse hopp set up to bait out the smoke bomb from batgirl :)

Thanks man! Maybe because I edited the tag in after I posted. The Batgirl/Lex player is actually a lot better, but he was getting so many input errors it frazzled him.

Yeah, I started doing it because I am not 100% on the setup, and you have to be frame perfect against batgirl. It's a nifty trick

yeah i noticed those input drops , especially with batgurl.. either way you still had to play:)
