I remember during the MKX reveal that one of the devs said on twitter that WB picks at least half the roster. So I just charge it to the game (aka blame the suits) and keep it moving.

Inb4 I get asked to find something from 6 years ago. No I'm not looking.

I mean, I don't think it was a coincidence that 70% of the I2 roster also happened to come from CW shows. For WB, these games are just great marketing tools that also make a lot of money

Wish people would realise nobody cares about Fujin outside of the hardcore MK fanbase. I absolutely guarantee you people wanted Baraka and Jade more than Fujin. You know how many people I've seen reacting to the reveal trailer and they're like "OH SHIT MY BOI BARAKA??!!?"
