Sun and Blood God vs GM Sub is rough
I think slasher vs GM is rough too

No it doesn't. Grandmaster is fine, he has gotten the shit beaten out of him with unnecessary nerfs anyway leave him alone, just because you are free to the clone doesn't mean it is over poweredA lot of mentions of GM in this thread dontcha think? *hint* *hint*
Makes you think about something doesn't it *hint* *hint**hint* *hint**hint* *hint**hint* *hint*
Don't let MIT hear you say thatKitana Sonya Tanya and Cassie all do perfectly fine against Kung Lao lol
The pride of TYM ) . What makes you think I'm free to the clone? I'm doing just fine against it with Reptile, thank you.No it doesn't. Riiiiiiight. Also the pride of TYM? the fuck I need a little context with that. I feel like I missed somethingThe pride of TYM ) . What makes you think I'm free to the clone? I'm doing just fine against it with Reptile, thank you.
This still doesn't change the fact that GM is mentioned a lot here. *HINT*
Except that its not mentioned here a lot. I think the only people who are mentioning it are Kotal players, and rightfully so.It's interesting to me that people have always seemingly judged each character variation separately, attempting to place them in tier lists etc. As soon as I picked up the game, I saw the option to keep using a favorite character and switch variations to help a bad match-up extremely innovative, and judged a character by the sum of its parts. Some variations are obviously junk compared to others, and tiers are more or less valid, but to list "bad match-ups" it should be necessary to specify each variation.
Ok, I'm being a bit of a jerk and I apologize for that.Riiiiiiight. Also the pride of TYM? the fuck I need a little context with that. I feel like I missed something
Haven't played the MU that often, but I don't remember it being bad at all haha (used vicious and ruthless, in case you were talking about lackey then idk maybe lol).Lasher Takeda vs ferra torr is fucking brutal, lasher outclasses and and beats ferra torr on all fronts if you play your cards right, lasher completely demolishes ferra torr and I honestly believe that could possibly be the worst match up in the game easily being 8-2 lashers favor. Torrs armor attacks either won't reach out are too slow and will get blown up and lasher can get free distance with jumping back then f2 since ferra torr can do literally nothing about it. If any ferra torr players would like to contest me and explain to me how it isn't that bad feel free but I honestly believe that it is an easy 8-2 lasher favor, maybe even 9-1.
I'm talking all the variations, there is one little thing that really fucks ferra torr that lasher has now, his new jumping normals. It may not sound like much but they really fuck him upHaven't played the MU that often, but I don't remember it being bad at all haha (used vicious and ruthless, in case you were talking about lackey then idk maybe lol).
Interesting, the last time I played the MU was after the patch, I'll keep an eye out for it though cos I don't really remember it being that free for either of us.I'm talking all the variations, there is one little thing that really fucks ferra torr that lasher has now, his new jumping normals. That makes a lot more sense now, although to be fair grandmaster doesn't have too many bad match ups, most people are just saying Johnny and reptile, which to be fair are bad match ups but couple good match ups don't make a character, hell every character that isn't absolute garbage tier since a few really good match ups, take lasher Takeda for example, he has some really good match ups against those who get zoned out easily like kotal Kahn and ferra torr. But does that make him broken? Not particularly, be just has some really favorable match ups, hell if anything he is mid-low tier, but I'm just saying give grandmaster since slack considering how often you post that much garbage about him, people play that character you know, and they definitely have their share of struggles.Ok, I'm being a bit of a jerk and I apologize for that.
The fact is that on these forums, 99% of the time when you raise a point against a character, there is for certain someone that posts and says pretty much the same thing you said : " shut up, you're free, level up ".
This has nothing to do with the point and with the match-up numbers.
Another example, your "Riiight" there also implies i'm getting 10-0 ed by every grandmaster out there. I'm usually going back and forth with it, I lose when I get bored and I don't want to wait, but when I'm careful and slide all his clone throws and break his clone with spit the moment he does it, the match goes just fine.
I was just pointing out that he has a lot of favorable matchups. *hint* O : - )
It isn't as good for kenshi as I originally thought, kenshi actually has a tough time zoning out sub zero, shocking I know since in mk9 holy shit that was a bad match up but in this game sub can get in and stay in fairly easy if they respect the armor, it isn't horrible for kenshi, I would just say 6-4 subs favor, keep in mind I am only talking balanced since that is the variation I have extensive knowledge of.What do you guys think of the kenshi, subzero gm matchup
Are you on psn? If so I would love to play you and I would absolutely love to be proven wrong.Interesting, the last time I played the MU was after the patch, I'll keep an eye out for it though cos I don't really remember it being that free for either of us.
I am but unfortunately I live in Australia... I can't even get a good connection to people the next state over Would've loved to grind the MU out though. Are you on psn? If so I would love to play you and I would absolutely love to be proven wrong.
Who would you say is a bad match for sub zero gm then. I don't really play kenshi but he just seemed like he would be a strong match up for sub zero, because he has a lot of specials that can go right through the clone without using meter. I was really planning on picking up kenjutsu for the match up, but I'll probably just stick to kano.It isn't as good for kenshi as I originally thought, kenshi actually has a tough time zoning out sub zero, shocking I know since in mk9 holy shit that was a bad match up but in this game sub can get in and stay in fairly easy if they respect the armor, it isn't horrible for kenshi, I would just say 6-4 subs favor, keep in mind I am only talking balanced since that is the variation I have extensive knowledge of.

You would think that it would be a good match up for balanced but alas it isn't, yeah I got specials that can go through the clone but they are also unsafe as fuck from that range, it isn't too hard to get balanced in the corner and keep him there. Especially since a well timed slide will get through my zoning, or hell, ex slide is a straight up get in free card.Who would you say is a bad match for sub zero gm then.
