First... The most credible of the three links had mostly generalized business costs and had no sources for the other costs.

But, to answer your question. Assuming the statistic in question is "You pay those 60$ but more than 40$ goes directly to the Store's profit " then it's absolutely made up. If it's about how much goes to the individuals involved in the game? It's probably not something you know, I haven't seen statistics on it, last I checked, most companies don't tell the public what they pay their employees.

The pricing for KI is fine, you ahve multiple options and can get everything available right now that's most important for $20. The stuff you get going to Ultra is all unnesscarry if you want to play a fighting game.

No matter what happened this game was going to get hated when it came to pricing. It's a lose lose situation.

And niggas need to stop complaining about roster number, the characters we're getting so far are extremely diverse and cover a large number of archetypes. Yeah it sucks most of my faves aren't going to be in this first set it looks like *Riptor, Spinal, Fulgore* but I'm pretty happy with everyone, they all look varied enough to plaese everyone who's not caught up on asethics.

Lol, but seriously.

Throwing out that 40$ direct to store was simplifying a matter (in retrospect not the best decision). The point mainly made to indicate that the developers aren't going to be getting a large return in most cases and in most minuscule at best. And I already stated my reason on pushing that IGN post as well. But the main point here is I won't be getting KI for various reasons and one being I won't be getting and Xbox One and in the same breath not selling my 360. But the developers is not the overarching story line I was pushing.

I just don't like the practices orchestrated with the game and wouldn't be a justified purchase for me. A lot of micro transactions haven't been necessarily for me and as for me making a lifestyle choice of it.
