But guyz there are ways to beats it.

For example Doomsday's trait, Grundy/Bane/Lex armor and hum... probably something else. Stop being so much noobz. Also FYI if u don't press buttons u won't get pushblock'd.

Lol u guys make fun of its flaws without mentioning the biggest one. This combo is literally impossible if the attack that u pushblock has too much pushback. This tech is good but you pretend like people are going to be eating the big combo every time they touch you. This tech is best and most viable in the corner imo.
wound can you unbiasedly answer this unbiased question...

should this be tournament legal?

To be fair Joker is getting more and more tech too, most of which can be found on this site.

Kind of hard to ban Sinestro's pushblock tech if unless you're going to ban every characters' pushblock tech.

i know jokers coming along i really doubt he is low tier but yeah i read new joker tech daily and i love seeing the new tech and to me this Sinestro tech does not really make him number one in the game because he still has trouble in MU's

your not grasping the fact every character besides sinestro has to take time to setup.
he requires no Time or risk.

Yes, until it is proven to be beyond broken IN TOURNAMENT, not in training mode.
So everyone else gets to be the sacrificial lambs.

I'd sure love to enter the FGC and spend several hundreds of dollars travelling to a tournament to be a guinnea pig.

That was not even close to my point. My point is it's truly unfair to say "Sinestro can't combo off of pushblock" when several other characters can AND the only time it was used in tournament thus far, the Sinestro player didn't win.

On a side note, how can you say other characters need no time to setup compared to Sinestro? Charging trait takes longer than throwing out mines/probe/teeth/orb (No wait don't read this MMH players, you don't need new ideas!)/calling wraith/pressing the button on the roomba/etc.

How is that hard? That's just dumb, all you have to do is ban the broken tech.
When it's clearly a glitch, like say an invisible bola that punishes doing anything from anywhere, then yes I agree.

This is comboing off of a pushblock, something Joker and Lex players have been doing for a while. How was it fair when we were doing it but unfair when someone else does?

Hell, Lex can even combo off of the opponent pushblocking him if he has probes out! Should that be banned too? (I mean, I might have been for banning it when I was able to abuse the alternate controls to force said pushblock AND combo off of it, but that is no longer the case)

Except both Lex and Joker aren't top 10 characters that lose any and all weaknesses by pushblocking with trait.

it should be pointed out that lex and joker can only combo off push block when they have a mine or teeth out. there is not a mine or teeth out all the timelike sinestros trait is.
i'm glad it only took like 3 posts for somoene to point out the GLARING weak point in that dudes argument.

That is true. It is also true that Joker and Lex can set this up off of blockstrings without having to previously charge up trait (By the way, completely nitpicking, but Lex can combo off of pushblocks using probes as well.).
They are not exactly the same, and I agree with that. However they are similar enough, and the concept is indeed the same.

So what we're saying is that this is less about comboing off of pushblocks and more about how good of a character Sinestro is without it, and therefore the reasoning is not so much "This is a broken concept" so much as "He's good enough already".

I can understand comboing off of pushblocks being retarded, but you can't take them away from one character and not the others under the reasoning of "My character sucks so who cares?". That is not a valid argument. Either ban them from everyone or don't.

And why can't you? Why is that not a valid arguement? You're really comparing Lex and Joker's pushblocks to Sinestro's? You of all players should know better since you play Joker.

It's a gameplay ability that character X does not need and very possibly makes him OP. Maybe we should remove all teleports too then since MMH's makes him top 3.

Well let's compare them really fast:

-All 3 characters get full combos from someone trying to attack them (I believe Zod and MMH can do this as well with Wraith and orbs, though I admit to not having tested this).
-All characters need to set this up, be it from trait or specials.
-It costs one bar for every character.
-All characters need to land a pushblock for it to work, meaning they have to guess correctly on a high/low/grab.
-Joker and Sinestro both get differing amounts of damage depending on how far away the opponent is when they get pushblocked (In both cases, pushblocking something very disjoincted will yield little to nothing).

It's precisely because I play Joker that this really looks to me like "I don't want to have to deal with this new BS on an already BS character so let's ban it, but let me keep mine because my character isn't good", and that is not a good reason to ban something.
If it is, then should we ban MMH's new 0-deaths on Asylum and HoJ because "That character is too good to have OTG resets"?

Also, your MMH comparison is somewhat flawed since not all teleports behave the same (Comparing attack teleports to normal ones is not exactly right), but even then, MMH's offensive teleports are really damn good, but who in their right mind would say "Let's keep most of his moveset, but ban this attack teleport, but keep other attack teleports intact.". The closest we've come to that was pre-patch scorpion, and we came really close to banning the entire character before he got fixed, but not once did anyone say "Well let's keep the character but ban this attack teleport. Keep Batgirl's though!"
