nice to have some good fights for a change, tonight's crowd wasn't very welcoming.
a lot of funny moments. i wanted to get my ipod and record some of them but didn't feel like it. also, your internet "cuts out" at very convenient times lol. i'm not saying you're rage quitting but i'm gonna call it that because it's just so funny XD
i haven't made anyone rage quit for like two days.
Lol...I've trained with Dan for many months now and I can assure you he never "ragequits". His internet or whatever bumps him out ALL the time. Also, he likes to test things mid match, so if you end up getting an "easy" win, keep in mind he is constantly testing and trying new things...

i know. i like to test things with him, too. in that particular match he chose sub zero and i was just about to beat him when his internet bumped him lol. it just looked funny.

EDIT: by the way, the only reason I won so many matches was because [MENTION=6106]Dan[/MENTION] doesn't always use a breaker every chance he gets. Were you trying to save your X-ray or something?

44, 1, yell, jip, F1, 2, hair whip is pretty good at 27% and it's the easiest. i think it's 42% with xray.
if you want a little more % you can do 44, B1, 2, dash, 1, yell, jip F1, 2, hair whip. it can be done without meter but you might need to use :en scream in this combo but it will be about 31% i decide mid-combo whether i need the :en scream or not

just know that F1, 2 does 1% more than her other strings(i.e. 2, 1 and 3, 1) and hair whip also does 1% more than step up so if you really care about 2% end your combos with F1, 2, hair whip but the others work fine as well.

hmm... personally, if i ever land 44 in the corner i'll just use 44, B1, 2, 1, yell, 3, 1, 1, step up. she might be able to do an U4 in there somewhere and U4 adds nice damage in corner combos. i'll have to toy around with corner 44 starter because i'm not too sure =P

i have a video of a 44 corner combo but it's just showing that sindel can do an 18 hit combo, it's not very practical. keep the questions coming!

mm soo many things to mention with her levitate. obviously, it dodges low and middle hitting projectiles but she'll still get hit by high ones. she can't block and all she can do is throw fireballs. Jax can't do anything but approach sindel when she levitates because his projectile will miss her so use it against him a lot when he's full screen away. the only thing kratos can do is waste meter on an :en arrow when sindel hovers. levitate fireballs are also the key to beating kratos parry spammers! it's basically a great mind game/bait tool. she can use levitate cancels in her strings but they're not safe - only use a couple times against people who block because they'll catch on quickly. se can do random levitate cancels to make her opponent wonder if she'll commit to the full hover or not. the users here have found a really cool trick not too long ago about her levitation: she can levitate, use a fireball, back dash, use another fireball, and automatically land really fast.

it's not something you'll use against every character but it is great when used correctly - which takes a while to learn. it's also a good fullscreen wakeup now if your opponent is trying to throw projectiles on your wakeup so you can't use low fireball. i've successfully used levitate a couple times to get out of the corner when a sub zero player tries to trap me with ice clones.

some of you said that you can combo after certain U4s... can someone post a video? because i can not do it.

shout-outs again to [MENTION=2531]Delriach[/MENTION] for finding that anti-sheeva technology!!! i just used it against a sheeva player today, multiple times, and online! it's totally awesome! it works on quan chi's teleport, too. i'm assuming it will also work on kung's teleport but i think it's safer to just uppercut. sadly, any good sheeva player will use fireball and ground stomp more than tele-stomp.

what else is there to add to this sindel guide?

EDIT:..... ermac's fireball can be ducked now.... i'm pretty sure it wasn't always that way. can sindel low fireball under it now?

Any character can duck under ermacs fireball. She can't low fireball under it.

that makes no sense because low fireball is supposed to lower her hitbox even more than ducking!

It's mk9 I have no clue why the game continues to make no sense especially where sindel is concerned.

I suck at fuzzy guarding, I know how it's done but I always fuck it up so I'm not going to explain. It might me fucking it up because of online or just due to me being the worst player.

It's the online ... especially after 1.05 (Maybe coincidence?) it seems fuzzy guarding is incredibly hard to do.

I've heard two different things referred to as "fuzzy guard"ing though.

1) Blocking low or high at the start of a string and then holding D or releasing D to block a mid-string low or overhead respectively. The character stays in the original blocking animation and the mid-string low or overhead is still blocked.
Example: Liu Kangs 213 hits Overhead on hit 3. You can D+Block the 21 and release D. Your character will still look like s/he is crouch blocking, but the 3 will be blocked.

2) Blocking and then pressing U and D in rapid succession to block everything. I dont even bother with this method as blocking low and then switching is a better choice, IMO.

i tried the up+down repetition but it did not work. i know all of quan chi's mixups but was falling for them yesterday. it was either 3 hit string that has a second low hit, low > overhead into trance or overhead into trance >.<
same thing with sektor when they realize i keep blocking that low kick, they start using the overhead > teleport.

that's also what i do except against characters like smoke because there's no reason to block low. idk if it's just online or what but quan chi's overhead kick starter seems pretty fast and he can link trance off of the overhead and low.

just to let you guys know, something like 2, 1, LC, 111, LC, 2, 1, step up builds about 1 bar of meter. i'd only use it like once, though.
people are finding new techs for all these characters... but nothing for sindel! we need to start hitting training mode and see if we can find anything! i found something before but it doesn't work because of the new wakeup system.
and idk WTF it is but quan chi players keep wakeup rolling my sindel's hair whip and that's not supposed to happen >:[[[
not a wakeup attack, they're just teching it!

EDIT: that LC string is hell to perform online lol

U+3...

Has anyone found an actual use for this move? I actually love the way it looks but I realized I absolutely never do it. Maybe I'm lacking creativity but this is the best I could come up with:
Corner: JIP, B1,2, U+4, U=3 =20%

Mid: B3+F2, U+3= 19% (but who would ever do this after landing a B3+F2????)
B1, 2, dash, U+3= 12%

Lol, pathetic I know but I'm just exploring the one move I think NO ONE uses...lol, any thoughts?

I think this is one move that should be explored to find some more possibilities in Sindel. It truly is an unused move. All i have ever used it for was random get off me before patch.

I'm sure most of you are wondering what happened to my punishment guide for Sindel, so I want to let everyone know that I've decided to turn that into a community project for TYM. Instead of doing just Sindel, it'll be for everyone, it might take a little longer to complete, but I know that it's going to be incredibly useful in the long run, so if anybody wants to help out, just check out the thread which can be located in my signature.

Hopefully it can be done soon, and I'm going to be working on Sindel right off the bat, so she'll probably be the first done.

just thought id share that sindel can low fireball under raiden torpedo, all about timing so be careful. were talking a 6 frame move vs a 18 frame move -_- but it can be done.
