Setplay in Injustice

I've a friend (one of the local Injustice players) who says that he has some Nightwing setups that no one has seen yet, but he refuses to post since STSFN and all.

How do you guys feel about setplay? It can be really stupid but it also gives a low tier character a better chance at placing. It's one of the reasons why the matchups in injustice aren't as bad as MK9

Sinestro does not belong at number 1. Batgirl's whole game literally revolves around the vortex, where as Sinestro can't get the vortex every time that he hits you. Sinestro having the equivalent "set play" of Batgirl would mean that he would get a vortex anywhere on the screem, such as after landing a boulder, shackles, or fear blast.

Its not about that. When he puts you in the vortex + trait, he gets free unblockables on you that can loop back into each other due to the fear blast and ji3 hitting on the same side.

He actually doesn't have any unblockables. It's true that you blocking timing changes depending on your guess, but nothing is truly unblockable (besides MB arachnid ).

Yes, an important thing that is overlooked in many "set play" or setup based characters is HOW they get their stuff going.

I mean LEx has like some of the best things ever in terms of shenanigans but some characters dont even let him start and stuff.

That being said, every little thing with batgirl leads to her shanigans
