MK is kinda dope
Shang is top tier, just an actual top tier that's hard to use. NW/Raiden/Cage/KL are piss easy to start and master

Nori did you see wnf valle was using shang pretty good . He may very will be he has he damage. Hah nw , raiden kung lao and smoke are easy mode lol

Smoke is nowhere near top tier. He's annoying, he's a good char but not top. When I meant NW/Raiden/KL/Cage are easy to use. Sub Zero is top tier also but you have to have very good defense/zoning to use him.

Either way, this game IMO is very balanced. There are clear top tiers, but IMO, nobody overpowered

:) I would say the "top players" have to convince me. All this talk that he can do this and that, top tier, where are the match vids? I've only seen Valle use him, and it was pretty decent. But I have yet to see a really good Shang. :)

I agree smoke is not top tier but his damage is top tier lol Its funny you say that bcu alot of people are saying subzero sucks its not that hes just not easy mode lol he got some nice strings 22 , 4 than ice clone they can't do nothing his slide is pretty good too from some ranges. Its a balanced game l agree not like mvc 3 lol

Who is saying Sub Zero sucks? That's just stupidity. Anybody intelligent and 90% of the community on TYM and even SRK agrees SZ is AT LEAST top 5 (tom brady thinks he's still the best in the game)

Agustin: You have to understand there are top players for this game. I know you don't think there are, but there are. Remember, these guys aren't married like we are and can practice 3 times a week w/their friends, travel across the country to get better. It's kind of hard when we don't travel like we used to and we only play once a week. Either way, that's your opinion on Shang, cool

shang nuts soul steal thing is like ermacs lil tks. its safe from a certain distance. Anyways. I have made up my top 3 post patch. reptile, cyrax, kabal. i am maining those 3 but been working on reptile the most since only a slight damage correction was the only thing patched for him. After the mighty betty taught me the proper way to do his bnb( 3,2,1 elbow dash nj 1/2 etc.)i can do it now 90% of the time.

Wish me good luck at the tourney. From what Jan told me, the scene for MK9 is not very big as to mvc3 still. blah. Hope I make top 16.

Thursday June 2 @ 8pm. Gameworx will be hosting a mini tournament for MK9 (XBOX platform). This will be a winner take all tourney. Highest out of town entrant will receive a prize. Tourney Fee is $10 and venue is $5 (fight night rate). If you need a ride please plan accordingly or post something. Registration will start @ 7. Be prepared for EVO and Texas Comic Con. If you are going to be late (highly discouraged) call Gameworx. Don't run your mouth like your the best, SHOW IT!!!

I have some practicing to get in before I try a tournament but I'd like to hit up one of the Thursday sessions soon.

you should swing by on Thursday to check it out. Gameworx is on Toepperwein near NE Methodist Hospital. A few people that are going are beginners as well. If you dont wanna compete thats cool, Im terrible at this game but I plan to compete. Hope to see you there!
