It's ok Ash. I don't take offense to your comments. Now if you were good at MK I would take offense but you giving up MK shows your skill in MK.

Hino. Skip is in New Mexico with a family. Thats why he moved. He still plays every so often. There is alot of lil mexicans on fight night at Subway lol. Who do you use? Thats how ill remember you.

I am just afraid of the unknowns in my pool. Oh well it will be a great experience

I never gived up mk to begin with how many times do you see me play mk and never played me hell for you know l can be better than betty lol Its ok when l beat you so much in casual with ermac who l hardly play ehhhhh.... Was a while back l think .... But its whatever you clearly think your better than me than top 8 put up or shut up if your so much better than me prove it .

I have faith in Betty in his bracket. He adapts well. ill be giving him some decent Kabal practice tomorrow
Josh don't turn this into an srk thread ok. Just because you play a game doesn't mean your good at it. I still play mvc3 and win a few every now and then but I know I am not good at the game. LoL. I agree with Nori. You make no sense. If you want AGAIN we can do a mm or 1st to 3/5 tomorrow at fight night. If I get top 8 then it will prove that I am better than 504 people.
Nori: I am putting GW infront of my name because Chris has done alot for me and for the community. So I am repping where he works at. I was never good enough for sponsorship and ill gladly admit it, nobody in SA is good enough to be honest in any game.

r-nice. Its all 360s. They do have ps3s but they dont have the game for it or the updates.

See you all tomorrow at fight night and I wish us all luck at Evo.

ps. How do you get out of cage's hit strings that leave you on a block stun. f~3-2 etc.

Iam down for mm or ft to whatever i haven't played mk in awhile so pardon my scrubness l just was having a little fun could never turn to this fourm to srk. And l dont intend to do its funny how you think that ... anyways when did l say l was good at mk iam ok at it all admit that .

Did I tell you guys I'm rooming with Tom Brady. Silent. Jop and them? Should be fun to play them all day casuals :)

Also just bought another ticket one way to Vegas for Thursday so I won't miss my pool. I60 bucks is not so bad. I won a tournament today at a gamestore for mk9 and won 85 bucks. Half of my ticket :p

So skip has a family? well i'm happy for him. does anybody have his facebook or XBL? I used to be around like 3yrs ago when 3S was the thing to do. How dare you speak about teh Masterer Betty like that? Don't you know he can erase you from existence with a mere thought?

@Betty: that's a good way to look at it. Don't forget my list betty^^

I can't play on a 360 pad at all, but if the reason that MK is being used on 360 is lack of ps3 set-ups, I'll gladly bring my console and game. That's one of the biggest reason why I am hesistant to really get into the off-line scene, besides the other obvious stuff about wife/kids/work issues.

Ah ok. As far as sponsorship, our 3D community is very solid and is at nationals nearly every year for tekken/soul cailbur. I'm assuming you mean nobody in the 2D world

Tekken? Nobody in SA is good enough all though solid. Ramin, knicks, aug, christian, nacho, you?? No, we have a very good community, but not sponsorship level. We both can agree on that.

FOR THE LAST TIME> San Antonio is a 360 town. Your welcome to bring ps3's to fight nights but learn stick or byos.

Cyke_out... If your gonna stick to online then I doubt you want to improve game play. Post your addy and we can arrange to play at your spot or someones house. 3 of us host games alteast once a week or go to Gameworx to play
Although you could be like Rain and come out of no where and be the best in sa just by playing online but ssf4 doesnt lag as much as mk does.

This is true.
I can say I have won many tournaments for Soul Calibur, local and major. For example, I won the Soul Calibur 2 regional in SA for the VGA National Tournament, but the national tourney was later canceled due to VGA ripping off people. I then won the regional for Soul Calibur 3 in Austin, but I decided not to go and lost interest when they decided to move the national tourney to someones back yard, lol. Then recently, I won the Soul Calibur 4 regional in Dallas and I got 13th out of 70 people in Denver.

Nori also recently went to nationals for SC4. He has one tourney win under his belt, and usually places in the top 5 or 8.

CW plays and loves Soul Calibur, lol. He is a good player but still sometimes struggles to make top 8.

Mortal Kombat is pretty much the only other game I take as serious as Soul Calibur.

Looking for some local battles

Howdy all
Names Alex. Ive been playing MK9 since release and I feel like its time for me to take my play outside the online arena. If this Wed. night fight is open to all I'd love to come through and get some offlines in and meet some local players, as long as its not on the other side of town or something.

Whats the time/location/entry fee etc?

Sorry if this was posted previously, I looked a bit but didnt feel like scrolling through all 50 thread pages.

I'm not sure why you keep saying this when you don't play the either game nor talk to anybody that does play those games. Knicks and Overall just won the last trashday which included beating Devil Jim, Kor and Crow. Kor is considered the best tekken player in the US. Soul Calibur/Tekken has always been represented well on a national level. In Tekken/SC, everybody knows SA is top

In my opinion AGAIN! I don't think its good enough for sponsorship. Nori. Trashday is good all but its not considered a major. Yes SA has been known for Tkn/SC. I agree on that.
AT GameWorx on topperwien they have both systesm available for use with updated versions. I was referring to Subway fight night to bring your PS3
Ya. Ty Josh for the donation for the Tacos for us at Jack in da Box. Betty kept the 3min match HYPE!
