Thanks, man. While this instills a little more confidence in me, this would mean the roster would have to exceed 26 to hit 28 to make room for Rain, and someone else, right? Because going off of the leaked Gamefaqs list, the roster appeared maxed at 26.

While I don't know how involved he is with whoever released this information, he clearly knows people who know things, or he knows people who know people who know things, since he was able to get ahold of the Jax, Johnny, and Sonya screen caps.

To be fair, his latest tweets about it go from him essentially confirming it, to giving more of a probably assertion.

When some random guy just makes educated guess, people are believing it eyes closed.
But someone comes with proofs, and everybody is like: nah no way it's happening.
This is the Rain magic, it makes every body being septical, even when people see him in a trailer, he still has more chance to be a NPC than a playable character in their eyes, I don't know why...

Well everyone knows he is in fact in the game... Boon already decomfirmed him as DLC... I do know they are working to the wire to get people in though...

But as for the list and such... Why people believe it... Because not only was the list a easy guess based on given information.. Several people who do know confirmed that it was in line with what they know..its why I say that it's correct not because of the list... But that it's in line with what I heard elsewhere and others said the same...
