Anyone got a list of BnBs for Ronin? I'd love person who gave me even a half decent one, although the better, the... Better? :)

yessir.. I only have a few but I've had much success. Don't be afraid to utilize the Run and Tornado Kick, you'll need it if you get zoned out.

[MID RANGE BnBs]
21, db1, db1- 17%
b212+3, db1, db1- 18%
112, bf2 - 16%
NJP, 44, df1- 23%

[MID RANGE] -1 BAR
b212+3, db1, EXdb1, 44, df1 - 31%
21, db1, EXdb1, 44, df1 - 30%
b3, EXbf2 .. 21, df1- 30%
NJP, 44, EXdf1- 26%
112, EXdf2 .. 21, df1- 30%
NJP, j1, EXbf4 .. 21, df1- 30-31% (the j1 to tornado kick is super strict so I wouldn't do this online unless your execution is flawless)

There's no reason to go over 2 Bars in one combo with Ronin unless you're closing out the match, in many cases it's not worth the expense for the extra 3-4% percent. Let me know if this helps any..

didnt raptor drop a few in his takeda write up? also i think theres a few links to others that have given a good deal or ronin data

Yeah he posted that the day after I made this post. Between here and there I definitely got enough to work with

Yoo! Ronin is where it's at! I play him like C. Viper, but with shit recovery. You have to be a genius to win against a player that knows how to backdash, but making the correct read leads to like 14%, so it's totally worth it. And the DP is GODLIKE! It only gets jumped over 76% of the time! The EX version? It's sooooo good. It does crazy damage and only fails to AA 89% of the time! I really don't understand why nobody is playing this character at tournaments.

Ronin's Quick Kall cannot be 2-in-1 cancelled from Blade Drop. However, Blade Kall and Blade Summon can be 2-in-1 cancelled from Blade Drop. Quick Kall was added in late, so this may have been overlooked. Also, Whirlwind Strike is not a hard knockdown against juggled opponents. Are these both intentional?

Haha! I thought you played well. Possessed has the teleport though so you couldn't zone in that match up but you showed some cool pressure in small bursts. When you were throwing the blade behind kenshi after a f1 2+4 or f12 2+4 blockstring was that a setup to bait a poke or armor move which you could block? I noticed Pig kept armoring you after you dropped your blade was that because you pressed a button or something... I'm just thinking that if he pokes and you block or he armors and you block, is your goal then to start a block string that pushes them onto the sword so you can either blade summon (low) or quick kall into b21 OH/Low mixups? Was that what I was seeing you do? Can you throw the notations up here/ explain your gameplan when you pressure with Ronin?

Wow had to delete my last response b/c it was garbage and i was eating sorry about that lol.

So after f1 2+4 into blade drop you are plus....but the string pushes them back so you would need to run up again to start pressure or you can just d3 or f3. At first i didn't realize the pushback and pig armored through. So after that i kind of got scared to push anything b/c i know pig likes to armor a lot. So i would try and see if he would armor and i can run again and start my pressure again. That's honestly all i got from playing the few matches we did. I would have to explore some more.

Also my goal isnt neccessarliy to get em close to the blade b/c blade call can be drawn back at any point of the screen. I just like doing it and going into b21 mix ups.

Main gameplan for me when i was using ronin was constant pressure with blade drop and call mix ups. I honestly haven't used ronin too much so i don't really know how to fully utilize him :/
