REO's Anti-Batman Strategies and his 3 Character (demo) Tier List

A legend of Mortal Kombat has returned and it looks like he's wasting no time to nail down some solid strategies in Injustice. REO has uploaded a few videos that deal with some anti-Batman strategy. It should be noted that these strategies may or may not work come April 16/19, but for now... they work. These videos have to deal with interrupting Batman's strings and his divekick.

In addition to this, REO had also posted a Demo Tier List naming Lex Luthor top tier followed by Batman and then Wonder Woman. Check out the tier list discussion (and why) here.

dive kick isn't overhead huh? and the crouch to block both sides is pretty dumb too, that eliminates mix ups, almost like a block button i wonder if it will be the same in the final game?

Some people griped that they hated getting crossed over in fighters where you hold back to block.

Now it could be argued that cross ups are a legit tactic, so if you can simply hold down this eliminates a lot of cross up shenanigans.

I'm a fan of this, I could see how some people might not be a fan though.

Yeah I would rather we have pure cross-ups.This both sides blocking elimanates mix-ups,which eliminates a section of tech.IMO of course....

I would imagine that just ducking to block both directions thing is a glitch, otherwise forget about cross ups being a serious thing in this game.
This.Has anyone voiced the community's concerns to Hector,Boon and the others?

Cross-ups are still in the game as long as it is an overhead. I have no problem crossing up people with Batman's jumping~medium, for example. This is more of anti-Batman technology than it is anti-cross up tech. This is a basic concept that is simple to follow - If it is not an overhead, then there is no cross-up potential. Besides, Batman's glide has many more uses to abuse right now.

It is simple it just seems kind of strange I guess. But then again I guess the dive kick would still be usefull for punishing whiffed anti-air attempts.

It's obvious NRS balanced the divekick by making it unable to cross up. If they wanted it to be used as a cross up they wouldn't have made it the only jump attack (in the demo at least) that isn't an overhead.

this is why they need to get rid of that down to block nonsense, when it fucks with a characters normal inherent setups thats part of their game, then we definitely have a problem! >:I

I don't like the point that wonder woman has a combo that starts with( b113)....After that, I would input (db1) for a spin that would bounce the opponent even higher in the air so i can input an (b1),which is the ground pop up which i finish up with other things.My point is is that if you guys would go in for yourselves to try this you'll see that this combo only works on batman and wonder woman.Someone try to help me solve this problem.why wont it work on Lex Luther?Is It because he's to big?who should i contact about this problem?I would hate to only be able to do my combos on certain characters and i would hate to have to drop her cause of this so could someone leave some info please...im new to gaming so my lack of gaming terminology knowledge maybe be confusing.hope someone understands what im saying​

I think it's cool if there are character specific combos tbh. You just have to work out what DOES work on Lex, you might even find it does more damage (a lot of the time in fighters you can do bigger combos to the bigger characters), which may in turn lead you to a combo for the rest that is even better than your first one. Learning the best combos to use on the particular character is part of learning the MU. (eg. I bloody HATE female ninja hitboxes is UMK3! haha).
