Proof why Kung Lao IS Mortal Kombat

word, MK2 was VERY serious with their fatalities, totally better than UMK3 which were based on comedy because of their laziness to animate the finishers to make it look serious.
even I would know which Kung Lao finishers were better.
MK2 Kung Fatalities > UMK3 Kung Fatalities.

The MK2 fatalities were definitely a HUGE step forwards for most, but since there was no controversial fatalities, I guess it took a step back from that. The UMK3 fatalities just got a little more silly, with no spines ripping or hearts ripping.

Well of couse MK 2 had no controversy, it was all covered in MK1. The game that did it FIRST. That's why all the controversy was there.

If MK2 fatalities had come out first, their would of been plenty of controversy over Baraka's impaling fatal. Not only do you kill your opponent, you make them suffer before they die.

that's true too, when MK1 came out, the controversy started with the blood in the game, then it all went down to sub's fatality. just imagine the crap that would've happened to midway if MK2 came first?
It's real funny how all that controversy came rushing back when MK4 came out too.
