UsedForGlue I see what you're saying here and I understand your frustration. Characters like WW are very fragile in the sense that one small tweak here and there could completely ruin her. I think the main issue with MK9 players coming over to injustice is that they are not used to a game that actually rewards defense. It is so hard coded into them that the best defense is a good offense. They don't want to stop and defend against mixups before their window of opportunity to escape becomes available.
Another issue is that nobody is willing to admit that somebody is just a lot better than them. Its always, this is whats beating me, the character is dumb, please ruin it for me..
One thing I will say about this game or maybe just NRS games in general is that you NEED to have backup for your weaknesses. That means more than one character. The biggest reason everyone hates the "top" characters is because they can compete with a majority of the cast and apparently thats a problem. As time progresses you will see people like foxy, zyphox?, etc make moves with new characters and essentially provide the blueprint for how people should play a more obscure character. This will be exciting to them at first because it feels like, yay all my hard work paid off people are appreciating me and implementing everything I do within a matter of a week. What follows after that, and we saw it in mk9 is you get a bunch of scrubs trying to bad mouth the person they are copying. But it does not matter, because as someone who has gamed competitively for 10+ years in multiple games I know that the entrepreneurs always stay on top and the copy cats are always waiting to chew on the entrepreneurs scraps.
The one final thing I guess I would like to say here is that a lot of players are new to fighting games. And learning fighting games from MK9 is probably the worst starting point due to its design being radically different from every other fighting game. They lack the ability to explore all of their options before coming to conclusions and therefore can not be trusted when it comes to balance. Just like the Xbox One fiasco ignorant people will always be the most vocal so you may feel as if you're being drowned out. While people like me read what you have to say and move on.
