Anyone else gonna go to Saturday Night Feast at Erie PA this weekend? It's not that far north from here. Will probably carpool and make it a road trip.

Lol your the closest one to me man so Im totally down. Im terrible at KI but its so much fun to play. How has your MK been going? Any new characters or still rain? Or did you just drop MK for KI? lol

haven't really been playing any mk. but i'm down for injustice, MK, KI or UMVC3 whenever you guys are free. of course I work friday -sunday next week

My friend as of right now not much is going on, pretty stagnant. We had casuals and things set up but with conflicting work schedules and driving situations its a little tough. Things should be picking up soon though... hopefully lol

Just now testing out the idea of hitting up the Pittsburgh area for sets to train up with and play against on occassion. I"m outta WV near Morgantown by the border so Pittsburgh is about an hour fifty-ish from me. Not bad, but not great. I work swing shift in industrial stuff too, so I'd be an on again off again face, but I can work a mic if you stream since Im used to entertaining from my wrestling days.

How big is the Pittsburgh scene with players and regular meetups? I can online play folks who're willing when I'm available so this thread might just determine which last gen console I buy MKX for lol.

The pittsburgh scene is kind of fractured--there are pockets of NRS players places, but the biggest group meets at CMU and they are not very fond of NRS games lol. There's a small group of about 4-5 that meet up sometimes (it's been a while now) and plays MK though. If you know when you'll be up, I'd be happy to organize a meet up for you to attend :)

That sounds pretty cool. I'll definitely try to get in sometime after MKX hits so I can be a part of the scene as it forms. As for other fighters I don't actually have one I play seriously now though I'm a hell of an enthusiast of most. I really like the way Skullgirls and Blaz Blue Chrono Phantazma play, but haven't put in time. I love King of Fighters 13 but my execution is not up to the level of that game lol. I used to play a shitload of DOA and was a pretty fair Brad Wong. Played a lot of Marvel back in the day, and I am a huge fan of Tatsunoko vs Capcom and Smash Bros.

Open to a lot of scenes I guess. Any of those present out there?

The biggest one I'm aware of is the Street Fighter and Marvel scene at CMU--they tend to play a little of everything, but those are the mainstays for sure.
