Patch 1.09 is available (on PS4)...

New patch for MK11 is out, initial reports are saying the forfeit exploit that allowed losers in ranked to stall out matches after a loss is gone. Whether or not anything else was done remains to be seen.


It's currently installing, so I don't have any notes on it yet. Will update as able.

Just says "General bug fixes", so it's probably for the forfeit glitch.

 

I'm worried about other potential exploits. If PS4 users beat the forfeit exploit by changing PSN accounts then going back into the MK11 app, can they do the same thing still? For example:

1. Win one game, set is 1-0
2. Losing opponent takes their sweet ass time deciding whether to rematch or switch characters
3. In the meantime, the winner does the aforementioned steps

... does that work? I hope not.

Or if the loser does it and manages to scam a win??

That was fixed quite some time ago? After rebooting from rest mode it just takes like 2-3 seconds and goes back online, at least for me.

 

Liu Kang's f4 is now 25f

Or maybe it's 25frames plus on whiff !

And f4 is now a low/overhead on the double hit.

Mine never reconnects, since launch. I also get the save error about once a week. Haven't lost anything major yet, but those issues are constant.

I just sign out, goes back to the title screen, then sign in again. Quicker than a restart and works everytime. Restarting the game sometimes gives me a "this profile is already signed in" error, meaning i have to restart the game again.

Yeah the whole cannot connect to server after rest mode was fixed for me after the update before this.
