Do you have an optimal combo for f1b2 or njp? I'm trying to find some but both leave me at an awkward state lol. Doing f2 after f1b2 is pretty difficult.
Well, it's not optimal, but f1b2, f1b2~df2 will hit. You can actually get 3 f1b2's in a row, but the scaling is spectacular. I'll try and see everything I can get out of it (I think air throw will hit at some point, so there could be gold there) but I won't be able to try for awhile yet.

WAR GOD easy and practical combos

f2, f2, f2, f1b2xxdf2 = 34% no meter, good wakeup, or end with b122xxdb1 for 35%
f2, f2 , f2 , EX df+1, f+2,b12xxdf+1 = 43% 1 bar

f1b2, f2,f2, f1b2xxdf2 = 30% (sub with b122xxdb1 for 31%)
f1b2,f2,f2, EX df+1, f+2, b12xxdf+1 = 38% 1 bar

b14xxEXdb1, f+2,f+2,b12xxdf+1 = 39% 1 bar

etc etc I think you get the idea. there might be better combos but those are pretty easy to do and very damaging

Some combos i've been using (all with War God):

F2-F2-1-F2-F1,B2/Saw Blade - 34%
1,1,4/Anti Air-F2-1-F1,B2/Saw Blade - 40% 1 bar *(DOES NOT WORK ON FERRA/TORR FOR NOW)
EX Overhead Smash-F2-1-F1,B2/Saw Blade - 32% 1 bar
EX Anti Air-F2-1-F1,B2/Saw Blade - 35%

How about corner combos? Anything there?

i dont see the use in f2 starter combos
I'm in the same boat. It's 17f startup and -9. Basically I guess these are your super heavy punish combos.

But how are we going to punish anything else? Our fastest normals are all crouching, so they're useless as they can't combo into anything. The fastest outside of that b1, which is 9 frames. Maybe we should focus on finding combos that start with his b1-2-2 string right now.
 
F2 has a very good vertical hitbox, it will catch opponents who jump when you had expected them to sit still.

Neutral jumping tends to be a very popular way to completely blow up attacks out of long runs. F2 is really good at countering said attempted blowups.

I try to not use it too much, but then again, I'm playing Sun God currently, and all my other options have their own disadvantages as well. I don't have a reason to really replace it fully with something else.

But if there by chance is, I'd be hard press to find a way to guard better against neutral jumps intended to counter my offense. The vertical hitbox on F2 reaches into the stratosphere :)

His b1 is 9 frame start up but -7 on block. Not many moves can punish that except low pokes and special moves quick like reptile dash. Ill try to stream as well showing practical set ups and safe options. I believe using 2 meters for more than 33% is awful. He needs 1 bar at all times.
 
Yeah, b1 is generally good even by itself. I actually just looked up the hit advantage and it was more than I expected (14 frames, not too shabby!). Everything after b1 is generally even more negative if not unsafe on block, and b1 is too fast in itself to hit-confirm into its extensions, but sometimes just doing a b1 can be enough reward on hit because the stagger can allow for a safer mixup afterwards than Kotal usually gets.
 
We should probably make a "Kotally Swag" thread for swag kombos.

It's hard to find BnB's shifting through a sea of impractical 3 bar or level 3 sun-grab kombos.

I mean, those things are REALLY AWESOME, but it does make things confusing to not actually be able to find BnB's in the kombo thread. I think the Grundy forums in Injustice did something similar.

So cuase I felt like it combined a chunk of things so far into a more singular post here. It's kind of crudly done for now, and I skipped over a bunch cause they are all slight variations of each other. I especially left out the F2 combos cause theres a gagillion of them.

While I did colour code them by how they were entered most combo's here can be done in any mode except for the final hit.

At some point I will looks to actually make a proper detailed combo list that analyses it all and lays it out in a more convenient format.

I just started playing today. My son was born Monday so I'm behind. Anyway, loving Kotal Kahn but I'm having trouble ex-ing his attacks. I had no trouble doing ex-ing with quan chi or Ferra/Torr but can't do it with Kahn to save my life. Anybody have this problem starting out? Really wanna optimize my combos

Great job compiling these. However, I noticed one little mistake. The first of the f34 combos is actually War God not Sun. I don't think Sun God even has a db1 and the clever ploy of ending in parry escapes me.

Pretty sure everything else is right. At least for War God.
