lol yup. I went there yesterday to pick it up but they have it out and were letting people play it. So, im gonna put locks on it and set it up 25 cent play. win win situation :coffee:

Once basketball season is over for me I think FrothyOmen and I are going to try to get out to one of these Console Combats. I am dying to play more offline!

Tim Static I had no idea there was one. School man, its 2.5 hours for me to drive back to the cleveland area :( Plus I've never been to a console combat so I've never met any of you guys. I plan on changing that over spring break which is in ~3 weeks (lolwut), are there going to be any events going on around then?

Basketball is over for me on March 18th, so after that my Sunday's should be way more free'd up.

its all good. Real life always comes first, trust me. Anyways, CC seems to be on hiatus with the 2 guys who run it have weird schedules with...........real life so nothing in terms of events, but look up Console Combat on Facebook and go from there :)

I looked it up... there's like 4 of them! So I just liked them all lmao. Kind of depressing there isn't anything going on, I was really looking forward to meeting everyone and playing some games. I'll check in here from time to time to see if things have changed.

Well, I went up there. No MK9 tonight. The guy I talked to said not a lot of MK guys come out any more. It's usually just two dudes, and they don't play it anymore.

I also had a go with some guy (forgot his name) on the UMK3 machine. My god, what idiot thought of that button layout? I haven't played it since I was a kid, but my wrist started hurting after about 6 matches, and I could only pull off combos with Kabal. How you guys got good at the game with the standard stick is beyond me. Oh and the arcade looks way better than the ports they've made. I don't know how that makes sense, but it really does.

I'll go back up next week and bring my PS3 so I can try to get some people to play MK9, or UMK3.

That would be myself and Geochron. Unfortunately I didn't bring my copy of MK with my setup and Geo couldn't make it, but he always brings his copy. I'll bring my next time to just in case, but I typically show up late. Always down to play a few matches though. (not online)

Do you have a 360 or PS3? If it's a 360, I'll have to bring...my device. Secondly, do you have UMK3 on either one? That's my preferred game. I'll give MK9 another go regardless, but I've never played offline, and online sucked so much for me that I haven't played it in five or six months.

We both run PS3. I don't have the MK Arcade Kollection, but I know Geo does, I've never really put time into UMK3, but I'll be down and I'm sure he will too.

I can bring out my PS3 out if needed as well, for MKAK. I tried playing on the UMK3 arcade machine and just about broke my wrist. My hands are too small for that thing. It was fun nonetheless.

I had pads connected to it, but i need to go about it another way. Hopefully by Seasons Beatings this May.......

But we need to hang out and play. UMK3 is my game too! :p

PS- UMK3 layout is GODLIKE! :p

Maybe for you and your Rachmaninoff hands. My hands are too small for that. I kept having to look down to do the combos. I could do Kabal's combo pretty good. I couldn't do any Ermac or Smoke combos. Couldn't get the D,B motion to work for the telepunch

If you come back to Momo on any Wednesday I'll always play MK9 as it's my main game and no one plays it except Dudefella occasionally. I'll also play UMK3, I have MKAK.
