Hey guys, just wanted to get a thread going to help find people for matchmaking in Tennessee.

The current hub for middle TN fighting games is:

I know I'm excited for the new MK, anyone else around here getting ready too?

We're going to have a lot of tourneys for this at the arcade with some good cash prizes and we already have SSF4AE at the arcade ;)

We have tourneys this coming Saturday on Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition, Blazblue, and MVC3 at the arcade, click the link in the OP for the official announcement/time/rules/fun stuff. Come on out and meet the guys!

This site rocks. Also, when the details are set in stone, there will be a tourney on the week of release at Game Galaxy Arcade. I will be posting the info here, so stay tuned.

I look forward to that weekend. I am going to try my hardest to make it up there for the tourney and start trying to make a trip up to Game Galaxy every month that i am able.

Been trying to stay off of SRK because of all the MK hate......

Rest of Tennessee is just jealous because they ain't having fun playing fighting games...it's SRS BSNS now and forever - not with MK, which is just gonna be a big ol' party with blackjack and hookers

I don't blame you man, this place is LEAGUES better than SRK. We're going to have that tournament, but in addition, DreamTR and myself will be hosting MK weekly gatherings at Game Galaxy for people to come out, meet other players, and get their faces rocked in some MK.

It's going to be tons of fun, and I highly recommend everyone try to make it out.

DreamTR told me about the meetings. I hope to make it out to the first one then come up once a month to them or when i have the money. Being three hours away really puts the hurt on my wallet and my car.

I'm going to have to get treatment for this anxiety shit I'm dealing with before I go out on the interstates again. Yes, it's that bad.

I hope that i will have mine in the mail by that time. I really do not see me using an xbox controller for this game. I may even have a new custom top for my HRAP3 SA with MK layout.

Question: Are the gates on authentic MK machines Round or Square? Right now i have a square gate on my IL stick.
